  1. Ortiz hit that a mile in the air. Good hang time.
  2. He probably needs a day off. Fenway will heat him up over the weekend.
  3. Thank goodness the offensive funk has ended. Let's administer a good old fashion Red Sox ass whuppin.
  4. Tek should not be batting 6th.
  5. You had Proctor on your Fantasy team? What is it an AL East only league. Unless there are 20 teams in your league and the league is AL -only, you would have to be a hopeless homer to pick the Proctologist.
  6. Tek comes up biiiiigggg with the 3-run homer. It's about time. The Proctologist blows.
  7. Nice way for Schill to take control with the lead. That was a nice K of HGH. He worked him mover in that AB.
  8. WTF is Coco thinking about swinging 3-0 with the heart of the lineup behind him.
  9. Yeah, I see why he is playing 3B instead of SS. He is such a superior 3B.
  10. This offensive funk is getting old. They are making s*** pitchers like Wang and Wright look like Halladay.
  11. ...or it's just complete stupidity by Torre, and even I don't think he is that stupid.
  12. What is with the offensive funk?
  13. I think it is great...stupid, buit great. It's stupid because your 3B is really a SS, and he is not just a SS but the best SS on the team(better than Jeter). ARod is not that great of a 3B, and SS is trhe key position in the Iinfield. Cairo plays SS for one reason and that reason is that bootlicker Joe will not disturb the prima dona. God forbid ARod plays SS and puts on a tremendouis defensive display. People might start questioning why he is not the SS. Torre would not do that to his loyal little soldier, Jeter. Cut the crap with the lame excuses, and call it for what it is-- favoritism for the prima dona.
  14. Because Terry is brain dead this season.
  15. Who is playing SS tonight with Jeter out again?
  16. But they are going with Pauley on Sunday, not Lester. That should tell you something about Lester's major league readiness. He may be a star 2 or 3 years down the road, but he ain't ready for the show. If the Sox could move him straight up for Willis, they would have done so already. The Marlins must be asking for the top two maybe three prospects in return for Willis, and they are right to do so. Willis is only 24, already a major league star, and he is cheap. If the roles were reversed and it was the Sox looking to move Willis, I would expect a king's ransom return. The Sox will probably be stuck with a rent-a-pitcher until year-end, and the earlier they make the move the more it will cost.
  17. The only thing more boring than soccer is watching golf.
  18. Have you been taking some herbal supplements?
  19. Why would that burst my bubble. I wish the kid could come up tomorrow and shoot out the lights. I know that he is a good prospect, but he is not ready to be a good major leaguer, which is what is needed for the rotation. Sorry if it bursts your bubble, but the FO that has a lot invested in the kid does not think he is ready for a single start never mind a rotation spot.
  20. I agree. The team needs Clement to pitch effectively. The two kids are not the answer.
  21. and if the Queen had balls she would be the King.
  22. Still, no coherent, logical explanation.:thumbdown My criticism in this case is not of the prima dona, but of the manager. This would be like having Marino and Montana on the same team, but putting the TE in to QB when the starter went down. It just makes no sense. I love it. I hope ARod never plays another game at SS. I enjoy watching him plkay out of position at 3B while Cairo plays SS.
  23. So, far these answers are completely unconvincing and frankly they are BS. Why move more people out of position? ARod has played thousands of games at SS in his lifetime. He is more out of position at 3B than SS. Longer throw at 3B? Even the Yankee fans aren't buying that. This is some weak s*** you are throwing at me.
