How do Yankee fans feel that Fatty Ponson is wearing Tino's #24. BTW A Yankee fan living in Baltimore told me that Ponson is so fat that he sweats gravy on the mound.

It's obvious that he has potential, but the staff needs something more than 5 inning efforts from its starters. The pen is getting worn out.

No ARod tonight after his horror show last night. He's probably has double appointments with his 12 psychiatrists, or maybe he flew off for a follow-up mentoring session with Piniella.

Even if they could pull a rabbit out of the hat and win the WC they are not at the same level as the Mets or even the Cards when healthy. The Braves GM knows this. Making the playoffs to go out in the first round is an old story for the Braves. I just don't see the Braves being anxious to keep a high-priced old player with a history of arm problems when he can use him to trade for prospects to build for the future.
