  1. Well, that was disappointing.
  2. Is anyone else really looking forward to Kyle Snyder's start against Cleveland on Tuesday?
  3. Welcome to TalkSox.
  4. Driving up the price on the yankees is meaningless.
  5. That will be determined by whether he gets a deal done and gets what the team needs. If he doesn't because a three or four team scenario falls apart, then he was dicking around. It's his job to get this done. If he doesn't, I really don't want to hear him whining like he did last year about the seller's market and the inflated price for pitching, etc. and we had to endure the likes of Chad Horriblevile and the embarrasment of Remlinger. If other teams can make the moves they need, he has no excuses if he doesn't
  6. Why does everyone on the boards jump to these absurd conclusions when there is the slightest criticism of the Boy King? Yes, of course I would love to make a trade where we get the short end of the bargain. I think my concern is legitimate as the deadline approaches. Three or four team trades often hit last minute snags. That's okay in January when you've got plenty of time. Hopefully, he'll pull something off. If not, maybe he should have had a different strategy earlier on. I get concerned when I hear analysts and writers say that insiders are telling them that Theo has been pursuing some crazy scenarios. But what am I saying. Theo will do what is best for the team. He always does, and he should never be questioned or criticized, even when he throws an off season hissy fit and quits his dream job.
  7. But we need pitching.
  8. If he is dicking around with a three team deal, the deadline might come and go with no deal. It's hard enough to get two teams together on a deal, never mind 3 or 4 teams.
  9. Tavarez should have started the inning. JVB should never come in a close game.
  10. Nice work from the pen. Edit: What is the word on Foulke? Is this something other than a little soreness in his back. Nice 10 hopper by Crisp on the SF. I am not so sure that his arm is better than Damon's
  11. Nice catch by Coco, but no arm on the throw. He should have raced him to first base.
  12. I giuess JVB is going to be nothing more than a AAAA pitcher. No balls.
  13. Exactly. He acted like he didn't even see Lowell throw the helmet.
  14. 92 pitches by lackey already.
  15. WMP with a broken bat Wall Ball? When is the last time you saw that?
  16. Ortiz should be sitting on the curve ball Edit: and he did and 2 more RBI
  17. THe Damon replacement fails again.
  18. This is the night to give Curt a rest.
  19. And would guess that you are an optimist.
  20. What an ass kicking. Terry go to the pen and give Schilling the rest of the night off.
  21. Our Damon replacement fails again. Good thing we have him for 4 years.
  22. Could've had Abreu in the 5 hole if Theo had a pair of balls.
