  1. I corrected the spelling to the English/americanized version L-U-C-A. L-U-K-A is, I believe, the way it is spelled in Italian and other languages. Isn't it enough to be the self-proclaimed expert in English grammar etc.? You also need to prove a mastery of the romance languages as well. Pompous Ass! BTW: You have engaged in another irrelevancy. You have a real problem staying on topic. What the hell was the original point you were arguing?
  2. The order of the lineup doesn't matter. Hmmm. Why doesn't the manager just hand in a lineup with 9 names in fielding postion order. The sequence does matter, fool. We spend countless hours arguing about whether Tek should be in the 5-hole etc. You are making a federal case about a team that I don't even care about. You are arguing irelevancies my friend. I really don't give a s*** avbout this, and I don't know what point you are trying to make. I didn't like that days lineup. How many times did that lineup get fielded in that sequence? You can't even win your own irelevant arguments. Go back to school.
  3. You are such a bogus hot air balloon. None of the lineups in these links was the same lineup as the Day in question against the Yankees. This is bogus evidence. Let me reiterate for the learning impaired, I made my comments in the context of a yankee game where Unit pitched. I didn't like the Indian line-up that day. My comments were not meant as an overall indictment of Cleveland's offense. You seem intent on proving that was my intent was to attack Cleveland's offense by showing that they had fielded their regular lineup that day. If you want to pursue that, please present evidence that supports your case. Tell me how many times the Guardians fielded that exact lineup this year. These links are bogus BS. Here is the lineup on that day. How many times did the Guardians field this lineup 1 though 9 in this order. Put up or shut up. No more phony evidence. http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/gamecenter/boxscore/MLB_20060614_CLE@NYY
  4. Yes, and thank you for proving my point by doing the research. They were 1 win and 9 losses with that lineup? Hmmm? I don't know, but that doesn't seem lik a very good record does it. for me.:thumbdown for you. You are out of your league. You and Lester need more seasoning. Go argue with your mother. Hone your skills and come back when you can argue like an adult.
  5. First of all, his name is Hutton. Second, I really don't care. I was using it as an example to illustrate a point, or can't your pea-sized brain grasp that concept? Ask Yankee fans if they like seeing him come to the plate. He continues to kill them. Wrong on two counts in a single post. I look forward to your next angry, idiotic post. Make it a long one so you can be wrong three or more times.
  6. Really? Look at the lineup on that day, and tell me how many times the Guardians fielded that lineup before you declare that you are right.
  7. I could only find three years of stats, but kennedy has been killing us longer than that. When Kendrick starts killing us on a regular basis, I'll fear him.
  8. I don't really care what he does against the rest of the league. It's more relevant to me what a guy does against the Red Sox. I had always remembered that kennedy was a Red Sox killer and the numbers bear that out. Do you think that when Tommy Hutton who owned Tom Seaver stepped to the plate Seaver said this guys #'s suck against the rest of the league, so I'll just blow him away? No, Seaver hated to see the guy step in, because he couldn't get him out.
  9. In the 3 year period from 2003 - 2005, in 97 ABs, Kennedy had a .309 Avg, .417 OPB .454 Slg., and .871 OPS against Boston I guess I was crazy to fear him.
  10. Right, I was critical of their lineup on that date.
  11. Is this a save situation for Mo?
  12. He argues balls and strikes in every single game. He is a real pain.
  13. Wow, Joe replacing Bernie for defensive purposes in the middle of an inning. Not cool. Bernie doesn't deserve that.
  14. E-4 and two runs come across.
  15. That's right. Good memory. Maybe I was wrong about that, but I wasn't saying the Cleveland offense sucks.
  16. At this point of the season, does Mo really need the work to stay sharp, and does he need two innings?
  17. Don't look now, but Mo is up in the Yankee Pen. Torre is intent on using the entire end of the Yankee pen.
  18. I never said the Guardians offense sucked. I was critical of the lineup that they put out against the Unit in a particular game, because I felt that it was not a very good lineup. I was in no way taking up the argument about Cleveland's team offense one way or another. Yeah, you did misunderstand again. Read post #38 in this thread. He called himself a masochist. Therefore, I thought it was fair game. I went pretty easy on him considering the personal attack that he leveled at me. Score 1 for me. Crespoblows blows. Let's see what he does in the post-season, because that is why he is being rested.
  19. Then go pack, schoolboy. Stay here today, and I will continue to take you to school. Go learn and come back when you are ready.
  20. As usual you take my comments out of context. The fact that I would have wanted kennedy in a particular game or series, doesn't mean that I would value Kennedy more than Kendrick, who does have special tools. Kennedy has shown the ability to get big hits in big games against the Sox and the Yankees. In a big game today against a top RHP, I would fear Kennedy more than Kendrick. I expect that could change in the near future. That is not a flip flop. It is just an acknowledgment that Kendrick is still developing. Finally, while I know that I am not always right. You have shown an uncanny ability to be wrong almost all the time.
  21. In ST, my comments about Papelbon were that he should have started the season in the pen, because I had feared that 200+ inning could damage the kid. I got a lot of argument about that. We even went so far as to predict his number of innings. I predicted a maximum of 130-140. No one predicted lower. I don't know how you could consider that to be negative. I guess if someone disagrees with your assessment of a player, you consider that to be a negative comment. I did say that Lester was not major league ready, and I did not think he would be major league ready this year, maybe not even in 2007. How many people think he belongs in the majors right now? He's here completely out of necessity. Saying that someone is not ready is way different than hoping he fails. In fact in my post I said that I hoped that I was wrong. It's not my fault that you are a lazy, masochistic, sicko, but if you are going to criticize my posts on this board, do the research or stfu. I really hope you do more research for your school papers. btw: In ST, I did root against that Tampa/Yankee bag of s*** Flash Flaherty, because I did not want him to make the roster, but if he had, I would root for him even though he is a POS.
  22. Loretta barely has avg. range, and Loretta also has below average power, so even if he is better than Loretta in these categories that is not saying much.
  23. You have just described Loretta, but he has done these things at the ML level. Pedroia has avg speed, avg arm, below avg. power and avg. range. In other words, he is nothing special.
  24. Kennedy also hits the s*** out of Red Sox and Yankee pitching. I like experienced accomplished players, not older players simply for experience sake.
