Stupid play by both. Pedroia should not have slowed up. More stupid by Cora? Yes, but stupid by Pedroia as well. Pedroia is looking good at the plate this weekend. I had to laugh when Remy said that some of his 2-strike swings up to this point of the season had been ridiculous. Schilling is looking great. By the end of the year, we will look back and say that he was the Ace of the staff. God, i wish we had him locked up for next year. Manny and Tavarez-- that is one crazy couple. Orsillo and Remy were about to piss themselves in the booth as Manny was rubbing Tavarez's head. -
Crap!!! What were the terms of my bet with Jackson? I think it was the user title, not the signature. Anyway, I'm glad it will be over by June 6th-- D-Day. I am disappointed that we did not get the Rocket. I think we need a #5 guy, and the Rocket would have filled the slot nicely. He'll be the #1 or 2 guy for the Yanks. We'll just have to spank him like we used to right before he left for the NL. Welcome back to baseball, Roger you obnoxious whore.

Great pitchers can win when they don't have their best stuff. That's why they are great pitchers. Plenty of guys have really good stuff and are .500 pitchers. -
I trealize the realities of the situation, but we are only speaking hypothitically here. If you have a chance to get a stud like Andruw Jones, Oswalt etc., you do it and let the pointy headed numbers guys tell you how to make it work. Maybe you salary dump another guy on your roster, restructure a contract, or something else. There are numerous ways to make things work financially when you have the resources of the Red Sox.

Who is going crazy. It's the only game on right now. Fox screwed up and has two crappy teams on this weekend. The game is a complete bore except for the fact that Wang has the perfect game going. Otherwise, I'd be on my way to dinner.

I can't believe that they have not re-scored the Jeter bunt which clearly should have been scored as a Sacrifice Bunt and a Fielders Choice. The lead runner would have been out by a lot if the 3B had been on the base. Jeter easily would have been out if Weaver had thrown to 1st.

You have to give the guy credit if he picked GS in the contest. That's really going out on a limb, and no one expected them to advance past the first round.
