Nice AB by Ortiz. His best in a while. He was on his FB and he didn't screw himself into the ground on the 79 mph offspeed pitch after about 4 FB s on 3-2.

Does Youk have a target painted on him? Nice hit by Kottaras. Lowell looks to be running a little better.

Probably not by much. Kotsay is a better fielder than Bailey, but Bailey and Van Every give you a lefty/righty combo at the plate that would probably be more productive than Kotsay.

Great game? It was just a terribly pitched game by both teams.

The Angels bullpen is pathetic. They gave up 6 runs in the last 2 innings. fuentes faced 4 batters and couldn't get a single out.
