Yankees Stifle another young arm: Hughes to the pen

So does Wang, and Papi used to hit Wang when he was good. This is the perfect medicine for Ortiz's bat. -
Yankees Stifle another young arm: Hughes to the pen

The Red Sox should see Wang next week. Oh, goodie, goodie, goodie!!!! Papi wil finally bust out of his slump. He has about 8 miles of Homers against Wang. -
-
Screw him. Let him lose with the Yankees.
-
Just be thankful that he plays for your favorite team.

A couple of cheap hits and Papelbon blew away 3 straight guys. He did his job. Dice K did not do his job. He got a cheap win going a measely 5 innings and giving the bullpen too much work.
-
But the guy couldn't hit it. He didn't show that he could get around on it on any of his swings. He was late every single time.
-
The guy was not getting around on any of his fastballs, so why would he want to speed up the guy's bat and give him a chance at hitting a hanging splitter?
-
Walks #8 and #9 to start the inning. That's never a good thing.
-
Time for a Dice K 5th inning implosion walking the 8th guy and 3-2 on #9?
-
I think he forgot how to count to three.

They really should have signed Bay in the off season for above market rates. He's going to cost even more after the season that he is having.
-
Drew's best month in his career has been June.

It would be nice to see Ortiz break out. I am starting to lose hope that it will happen. What's worse is that I think he is starting to lose hope.

Can we have the numerous Yankee minor league threads merged? I barely care about the threads involving their major league team. Do we really need threads for multiple minor league levels of the Yankee organization?

All of that good stuff made him a loser and increased his 5+ ERA.

They need to start winning a road series every now and then. -
You were a one man whine-fest today. This had nothing to do with the umps that your CF sucks.

More whining.
