  1. I don't think $14 million is outrageous. If that's the market, that's the market. If the Yankees blow off the doors, that would not be the market and he leaves.
  2. Doesn't KRod get $13 million?
  3. I think a lot of us think the Sox would go for KRod money. Of course, there is the possibility that the Yankees blow off everyone's doors, but if they don't, I think the FO will keep him in Boston. But I am just a pessimist.
  4. Wow, touchy! Too bad about your mom. Sorry about that. But you are still a nasty little prick.
  5. Little boy. Have you ever seen a real **** that wasn't on your computer.
  6. Oh please. Go to sleep before your mommy sees that your light is still on you little twit. I am going to sleep because I have an early drive to Boston. I'll be at Fenway on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, so I will not have the pleasure of breaking your tiny little hairless balls until Monday, unless you are also going to the games. I guess not. BTW I don't understand all this hating on papelbon. Very negative. Some would call it pessimistic.
  7. Hey, it's your theory, not mine.
  8. The news in NY is that it is a two game benching-- Channel 7 Eyewitness News.
  9. Your post proves my point. From 1998 on, we have had a bunch of closers. There was not the consistenct excellent performance from the closer spot throughout those years that Papelbon gives us. I don't know what the blown save totals were for Derek lowe while he was closing, but there were too many of them causing him to be shifted back to starting. Urbina's BS totals I don't know, but I was not too comfortable when he had the ball in his hands either.
  10. How do you think the benching went over with ARod? I can't think it will do much for his relationship with Girardi, but then again, everyone on the team hate ARod so it probably endeared Girardi to everyone else.
  11. The offense hase 3 hits in the last 2 games (14 innings).
  12. You need to think positive.
  13. He will be humiliated in Japan for losing to Kawakami.
  14. So, how long do the Sox stick with Dice K's bad luck? Oh, excuse me, he doesn't suck, he must be injured. Of course, there is the possibility that he could be following the pattern taken by other Japanese pitchers, who turned to garbage in their third year in the major leagues without being injured. Can the Sox even consider trading Penny until Dice K turns things around?
  15. ... but he needs a translator. Go figure.
  16. Oooh, I wouldn't want to do that would I?
  17. This will be a tremendous humiliation for Dice K if he gets bested by his fellow countryman. Maybe he will do the honorable thing and save everyone from grappling with the 6 starter dilemma.
  18. ...and it makes me wonder why Dice K always needs his interpreter to speak with the press.
  19. Rather than paraphrasing, I'll let your statement speak for itself. You were referring to Dice K in this statement... right?
  20. http://www.talksox.com/forum/419469-post757.html Here' the post. I said that he has been sucking and you responded that he has been more unlucky than anything else. Of course, I am just paraphrasing.
