The Sox next four series are against Baltimore, Seattle, Oakland, and KC. Only the oriole series is away. The other three series are at home. The Yanks play Seattle, Toronto, Minnesota, and the Angels.

The Mets are like the Bad news Bears. What was Manuel thinking about letting KRod throw a strike to Jeter with Mo on deck. The Mets are under-manned and they are run by idiots in the FO and in the dugout.

The Mets being the Mets again. What an embarrassment!

There was no home town discount involved. Other financial considerations were at work. There's only a discount when a player has a bigger offer from another team at the same time. That was not the case with Youkilis, Lester or Pedroia. In fact the home team is taking a financial risk, because they might have been able to go year by year before they were FA eligible and negate the injury and other risks.

It's unbelievable that the mets have no one better than a .171 hitter for this situation.

Torre would go for the 5 out save here. Will Girardi?

The Mets lineup makes the Braves look like the '27 Yankees.

Maybe he went to NY because they made the biggest offer.

    Mets suck!

He is getting that lubricant injected, not a cortisone shot.

The Mets are usually terrible against Wang.

I would throw in the toaster just to make sure.

I wish he'd go swimming in his pool with a toaster.

Penny has hit two rockets to 3B. If his arm goes dead, he could bang a few balls off the Monstah.

It wasn't like Hanson was wild and missing the zone. He was ahead 2 strikes on both Ortiz and Varitek.

After 2 nice lengthy ABs, Jacoby swings at the first pitch.
