  1. What a joke! The Yankees and the the coaches were congratulating ARod like he had accomplished something. How pathetic. They jumped up and down like they had won a great victory when all that happened was the Bad News Bears handed them a gift. Mets fans must want to kill themselves.
  2. Nooo!!! Keep Girardi. Yankees are getting bitch-slpapped by their cross-town rivals.
  3. The Sox have not beaten the Yanks 8-0 since 1912. I think that is more impressive.
  4. I watched the game in a bar in the heart of NYC. It seemed that only the Red Sox fans were watching. There was not an ounce of interest or excitement by Yankee fans even when they took the lead. A funny thing happened in the 8th. When Drew got the hit that cut the Yankee lead to 1, a lot of people got up and left. I asked one of the guys (Yankee fan) why he was leaving. He answered that he had had enough of this s***. He didn't even seem to be watching the game the entire night. I guess that was the case with a lot of them. They were watching the game in an almost surreptitious manner, and when they saw the big burn coming, they bolted for the door like rats deserting a sinking ship. I thought it was interesting how several years of failure and a couple of Red Sox championships have modified the behavior of Yankee fans. They are now very subdued, almost meek in the presence of Red Sox fans. It is a pleasant change from their obnoxious days. I don't let them forget that the Yankees are our bitches now and then I watch them run away with their tails between their legs. Good times! Good times!
  5. Girardi is a terrible manager. I've been saying it from day one. His so-called success in Fla was not really a success when you start to analyze the results and when you take into account that he alienated 3/4 of that team by August. I want the Yankees to extend him for 10 years.
  6. If the Yankees lose tonight, we won't see Gom for weeks. Jacko will be limited and meek in his appearances. The rest of the losers will disappear completely and only come back if there is an opportunity to be completely vicious. I don't see the Sox pulling off the sweep, so unfortunately, we will not rid ourselves of this vermin.
  7. Have the Red Sox or Yankees ever started a season series at 7-0?
  8. I think the gun was a little juiced last night. Wang hit 96 on a pitch. There is no way that he throws that hard at this point. The gun was fast by at least 3 mph. The gun has been juiced for Yanks-Sox games this season. In the last series at yankee Stadium, the gun showed Lester hitting 99 and 101.
  9. After the game when asked about Wang, Girardi said (and I am paraphrasing):"I have faith in people. I believe in people.". What a giant douche. Translation: "I have no faith in this guy and he is on an extremely short leash. One more start like this and I will send him to the bull pen.
  10. This game was a bitch slapping followed by a giant tease and then heartbreak for Yankee fans.
  11. Nice swinging by Kottaras tonight.
  12. Some insurance would be nice.
  13. Nice clutch pitching by Okajima. He's looking like the 2007 Okajima.
  14. Hughes has been in a good groove, and Girardi is getting cute with the mix and match stuff by bringing in Coke to face Ortiz. I like the move.
  15. Nice catch by Swisher.
  16. Nice job by Okajima. Sox need more runs.
  17. Cue Gom and Jacko. One more Yankee HR and they'll be posting.
  18. Crap!! Sorry Wakefield.
  19. Bring back Wakefield.
  20. Damon with another HR. No cheapie into the bullpen.
