If he stays where he is, that would be fine with me, but if the Yankees were to scoop him up that would shift the balance of power to the Yankees without a doubt. Pitching wins and the Sox have plenty of offense. If Halladay goes to the National League, it wouldn't bother me, but it would bother me if the Yanks got him. I think the FO is on top of this enough that they will not let this happen and are prepared to top a Yankee offer. The Sox don't need Halladay, but they can't afford to let the Yankees get him. Also, this whole discussion about Halladay stems from my belief that Penny will not be traded unless the Sox get Halladay. I am convinced about that. Penny isn't going anywhere to make room for Buchholz.
