Didn't he spike a ball when he was playing for the Sox?
-
Why did Joba only pitch 3 innings 35 pitches today?
-
Just got in. Wagner looks pretty good!!
-
Red Sox win! Cue Dirty Water!
-
Doesn't he have to be if he is playing for the Sox?
-
It's already a heart attack situation. Papelbon has no room to mess around.
-
Great outing tonight. Consistency is the key. So far, he has followed good starts with crappy ones. He's got a live arm, a good curve and a very deceptive change up. He needs to be consistent from start to start.

I think you need a cold shower.

Gathright was acquired because they need another OFer. Baldelli can't go every day if one of the starters goes down for a while. Gathright is a good fielding OFer and has exceptional base running speed (if he can manage to get on base).
-
Two outs given to them on the bases. Great! Don't the Sox want to win this game.
-
75 pitches for Romero with none out in the 4th.
-
Drew with a single through the shift.
-
I can't believe that we haven't made Romero pay for all the base runners.
-
We are keeping Romero in this game.

What a squander! Goodness!
-
So Tazawa will get another start with no one backing him up.
-
We are going with the "A" lineup.

What's the weather forecast for tonight?

True.

The Red Sox owners had exclusive access to him during their meeting. You are obviously not a sales person. You close the deal. It's why car dealers do everything not to let you walk out of the showroom. If the buyer leaves and says he is going to think about it, the chances of him buying a car from you are slim and none. The same principle was at work here. They asked Tex, what would it take to put you in Fenway today. He told them and they walked away from the table. When he told them what he wanted, they should shook his hand and said "you have a deal." The Yankees never would have entered the picture. They walked away, and they will pay for that decision for years.
-
But the love affair that the Press has with Jeter will push him past Tex.
-
There's a huge push going on for Jeter.
