    Dipre, I 've told you several times before that I will not watch the Twins play the Yanks. It's like watching a bad movie over and over and hoping for the ending to change. Gardenhire will always find a way to blow games to the Yanks. I have had arguments with people about Gardenhire. I'm not interested in debating his managerial record or skill. I'm tired of watching this show. He's done it again.

    I am very relaxed:lol:, but a 4th place team shouldn't be too relaxed. The team is playing better, but they are going to need to maintain that level of play on the road. They need to not lose any more ground before Cameron and Ellsbury get back. Then I would expect them to go on a bit of a run, overtake Toronto and start closing on Tampa and the Yankees. The two drubbings by the Yanks could not have done much for the confidence of the team. It could be a key spark if they can beat the Yanks on the upcoming trip to the Bronx.

    Good enough to be firmly in 4th place ahead of the Orioles. Maybe this would be a good position for a playoff berth in hockey, but not in baseball even with a Wild Card.

    If a player had bunted late in the game to break up the Perfect game and it ended up being the only hit, that player would have been ostracized by his fellow players, and IMO he would have deserved to be tased like the guy in Philly.

    Here's the facts. After a long home stand, this 2010 Red Sox team (with a $160 million payroll) are a click above .500 a month and a half into the season. It's not where they wanted or expected to be. Now that April has been gone for two weeks, you have found a new mantra of "stop bitching" to replace the "it's only April" mantra? Fourth place behind Toronto after a long home stand -- there's plenty to bitch about right now.

    So, if we can beat Burnett and hit Sabathia, we should have had no problem with a post surgical Marcum who is not an elite pitcher. Not bitching, just stating a fact. They should be sweeping that Halladay-less Jays at Fenway. The 2010 Sox are just not getting it done right now. Other than a sweep of the Angels (who have turned into dogshit) at Fenway, we can't beat the good teams, we are not playing well on the road, and they are not beating the weak teams as consistently as they should at Fenway. Maybe some of this changes when Cameron and Ellsbury return.

    The Red Sox used to regularly give Roy Halladay a hard time. A post-surgical Marcum is not in his league. They should have ripped him a new one.
