    So. several posters on one Red Sox message board don't like him for what you consider to be invalid reasons and you and others think that makes him the most under appreciated player in Red Sox history? I go to lots of games including Spring Training games, and I am yet to hear him get booed, not even when he has been slumping. I think the claims of widespread under appreciation are based on what others here call a very "small sample size." 35,000 + fans express a different opinion 81 times a year. I am a Drew fan, but let's stop whining for about his under appreciation.

    I just think it is immature that some fans insist that other fans like players that they like. I like Drew, but others are free to not like him. Does tha t make him "under appreciated". I don't even know what that means in this context. Some people don't like Pacino's acting. Does that mean that they under appreciate him? No, they just don't like him. Yes Youk! We need one more run.

    People hated Williams, Yaz, Boggs etc. It's a long list. The Drew hatred is no worse.
