    Ortiz is our best ofensive player except for AGon. I would have batted him there with two men on and none out. He gives you a much better chance of succeeding and having a big inning than Salty does.

    1st and 3rd with no one out, Tito should have PH for Salty and used Ortiz. This was the opportunity for a big crooked number. Instead, Tito sits on his hands and we get a K and a sac fly. Just stupid.

    Yes I am familiar with our roster. Hopefully, we will have Crawford back by October. That would help the OF. Lowrie is not the answer at SS and neither is Scutaro.

    Poor D and fundamentals is bad way to beat bad teams when you are playing with half of your offense. Reddick did everything but face plant on his error.

    Soon to be 4 games in a row to the Padres and Pirates. Ridiculous. Is this the same juggernaut team that was tearing through teams not so long ago?

    You are right that we should be able to at least tread water against these bad teams. However, the team's fundamentals are very poor and our tactical managing sucks. That puts us at a tremendous disadvantage, so I think we need AGon's bat to succeed on this road trip.

    At least we have the top of the order coming up in the 9th. Hurdle was playing with fire pitching to Ortiz. Unfortunately, he didn't get burned.
