    It really is impossible to defend lackey's performance to this point in the season- nearly the half way point. His first half has been so bad that it is difficult to be optimistic about his second half.

    Beckett shouldn't even have been out there for the bottom of the 6th inning. Down 3-0 to Lee in the NL park, Beckett should have been lifted for a PH in the 6th. Tito can't manage in the AL. The NL is way beyond his capabilities. 5-0 now. The game is out of reach. If he PH in the 6th, maybe we get a little rally.
