    They kept Nava up here so long that they destroyed his trade value. Back 3 weeks ago, he might have been attractive to some teams. When Pods came off the DL, they should have brought him up immediately and moved Nava. Now, he is worthless again.

    People were saying that Lester was not a 4.30 ERA pitcher. It seems that he is a 5.46 ERA pitcher. His ERA at Fenway is 7+. He has taken on the mantle of Lackey, but without the wins. He needs to go to the pen. They can't keep trotting him to the mound to give away games. He needs to get stuff figure out in the pen.

    His ERA is 7.65. How many times this season has this guy failed to complete an inning of work? Do we really need to see more of this guy to realize that Benny got taken on this trade. Cut this f***ing guy. He's worthless.

    A minor strain that would put him on the DL might not be such a bad thing for him, since they appear unwilling to put him in the pen.

    The bad thing about this situation isn't that we think Lester sucks. The really, really, really big problem is that Lester obviously thinks he sucks. IDK what can be done about that other than send him to the pen to get his head right.

    Isn't there anyone in the organization on the payroll in some capacity that they can call on to break down Lester and figure out WTF is wrong with him. Tiant works for the team. Eckersely too. teams have been known to call on former players when the coaches can't figure out stuff. Heck, the Sox were always calling on Phil Niekro to help Wake, and Niekro wasn't even on our payroll and never played for us. There are no other pitching coaches in our system who are familiar with Lester?

    Honestly, this team has not been merely mediocre since last September 1st, but it has truly been an embarrassment.

    Ace!!!:lol: First pitch HR. This guy sucks. They need to get his ass into the bullpen. f*** hurting his feelings. This is a business where the aim is to win games. He can't. Get Morales back in the rotation, and let this mess work out his issues in the bullpen.
