    He was definitely safe and the ump was out of position, but the call never should have been an issue. Going 90 feet on a ball hit 380 over the OFers head is just stupid.

    Pettitte is a cheater, liar and a huge hypocrite. He was a known huge hypocrite long before HGH came into the stor. Remember that he went to Houston to be close to his family. Well, they gave him a big fat contract. TheYankees were scared about his elbow. After that contract was up and his arm was still sound, the Yankees wooed him back with big bucks. Being close to his family had its price.

    This deserves its own thread. RIP Boomer. He used to wear this necklace that had what looked like teeth on it. He would say that they were second baseman's teeth from breaking up DP's. What a character.

    I think our FO has been pretty terrible at evaluating and drafting pitching talent. That has been going on for a while. I hope that their current scouting department can do a better job than has has been done for several years. As for the guys in our system, the FO can't sit and wait for something that is more likely not to happen. Next season or the season after they will have to add to the staff from outside the organization.

    I was always a big Yaz fan. He was one of the two greatest athletes in the history of Long Island. Yaz was a legendary iconfrom Suffolk County, Long Island while jim Brown was all everything in neighboring Nassau County. Boston was always a tough town for it's baseball stars. Yaz had the press and the fans on his back for several years until people started to realize what he had done for the franchise and how hard he worked. He was looked upon as an outsider in the beginning of his career, but he eventually became a Boston/New England fixture and a big part of its folklore.

    If you saved enough bread wrappers, you got a Yaz hat. I had mine until a couple of years ago.

    His main objective has always seemed to be to harass me and Jacko. Every time he comes back a group of other posters enjoy that aspect, but even they can't tolerate his antics for very long and inevitably he gets he gets banned. I've notice another pattern with this psycho. Each time he descends into complete stupidity shortly after I put him on ignore and stop engaging him. Sick pup. I do have a question for the mods. We knew for some time that this was Dutchy and we know how it will end. We can probably make a safe bet that he'll be back under is 125th identity before the season ends. Can we just ban him as soon as he is outed? He just clutters the place with stupidity each time. If he gets banned before he gets his yah yahs, he may stop coming back. Emmz can spot this jackass from his first or second post. BTW: I was drunk last night too. Let's not blame the alcohol.

    I'd be ecstatic if Webster/Rubby or Renaudo progress to being productive members of the rotation. I wouldn't hold my breath about any of them being a #1 or 2.
