    Sweet mother!! David Ortiz is unbelievable. He had looked so terrible the last 2 nights and he ropes that, Talk about a game of inches. That ball hit hunter's glove.

    We looked almost this bad through the first 3 games of the 2004 ALCS against the Yanks and 2007 ALCS against the Guardians.

    I really thought Salty had tied up the game. The ball didn't hook. If it had hooked, it would have been in the stands. Hunter expected it to hook. He almost over ran it.

    Hmm, Interesting move benching Napoli. He usually does very well in the post season, but his bat has been very quiet thus far. I was expecting him to bust out soon. I would have dropped him in the order but not benched him. Ortiz will get nothing to hit with Carp hitting behind him.

    He's also a guy whose pitch count can be driven up to 100+ in 5 innings. I am not saying that he will not be tough, but Lackey has a history of being tough in big games.

    I'll take my chances. In a game 7 the Tiger advantage would not be Verlander. If they would have any advantage at all, it would be Leyland.

    I will be gagging and nauseous if the Sox go down 2-0, because they will have put themselves in a huge hole, but this team has come up big all season long when things looked bleak. I will not count this group out unless they are officially eliminated.
