  1. And the strikeouts are getting embarrassing, and Napoli is on the bench.
  2. I really thought Salty had tied up the game. The ball didn't hook. If it had hooked, it would have been in the stands. Hunter expected it to hook. He almost over ran it.
  3. Pfft! He's crying, but he asked someone to quote him so I could see that he was telling me to go f **k myself. LOL!! That's my last word on it.
  4. Hmm, Interesting move benching Napoli. He usually does very well in the post season, but his bat has been very quiet thus far. I was expecting him to bust out soon. I would have dropped him in the order but not benched him. Ortiz will get nothing to hit with Carp hitting behind him.
  5. He's also a guy whose pitch count can be driven up to 100+ in 5 innings. I am not saying that he will not be tough, but Lackey has a history of being tough in big games.
  6. I'll take my chances. In a game 7 the Tiger advantage would not be Verlander. If they would have any advantage at all, it would be Leyland.
  7. I will be gagging and nauseous if the Sox go down 2-0, because they will have put themselves in a huge hole, but this team has come up big all season long when things looked bleak. I will not count this group out unless they are officially eliminated.
  8. He executed every time that he had to execute. I tip my hat to the guy.
  9. He refused to let anyone hurt him. That's why he walked so many. He bent with the walks, but didn't break when he had to get out of those jams.
  10. Sanchez dominated us, because when our batters tried to exercise some patience at the plate he threw quality strikes on the corners with his fastball. It seemed like he didn't throw a single pitch over the middle of the plate. That was just amazing big game pitching. He did walk a bunch of guys and throw a lot of pitches, but he never gave in and never made a mistake. We just needed one lucky break-- a blooper, a seeing eye grounder and we would have pushed across a handful of runs and won. Curt Schilling always says that the difference between winning and losing is executing 5 or 6 pitches. Sanchez executed everyone of the pitches that he needed to execute.
  11. In the present it is in the unicorn category.
  12. An erection from Hillary Clinton. That's sort of like a Unicorn and Joe West's eye.
  13. Yeah f*** me. Go break your anti-mojo fingers, UN. Your mojo sucks.
  14. 1 hit and 17 k's. UN should break his fingers slamming his laptop shut on them so he is out of the GT rotation. Go get'em tomorrow SFF. Go Sox!
  15. I thought he was going to crush that pitch. I was shocked that he popped it up.
  16. It looked like Xander missed a hanger there.
  17. Would they pitch out on 2-0 to try to cut down on the steal?
  18. At least we are spared the humiliation of getting no-hit. Great job of hitting by Nava!!
  19. He has done nothing so far in the playoffs. He is usually very good in the post season.
