Whoever takes Clement's spot would most likely pitch Monday against the Nationals. Id prefer Pauley against them, since they hit lefties much better

Ginter would get shelled, not saying Pauley's a much better option either. They need to go out and trade for someone. Possibly Alvarez, but id say the best option has to be Pauley

Clement escaped the bases loaded because of a really dumb job by Hunter, swinging at the first pitch from Clement after he walked the bases loaded. Clement has been extremely lucky that he hasnt let up 7 runs today

I cant stand pitchers like Clement and Tavarez who have no control at all, but when they do throw strikes there 89 MPH fastballs down the pipe.

Dude, any left handed hitter with any power what so ever could hit that pitch out. Clement left a MEATBALL right down the plate and it got tattooed

Anyone hear Francona's interview on WEEI today? He was talking about how Tavarez had his best stuff all year last night and how ironic the outcome was. He also said he thought about using Delcarmen, but said he was afraid to because it could hurt his developement

ya i was thinking the same thing to. They need to put Coco in the 9th spot untill he starts hitting again. If he could get on in the 9th spot, wed have some speed on base with Youk, Loretta, Papi and Manny up. Gonzo is hitting .278 with an obp of .312 during May/June so i'd be fine with him hitting 8th. Crisp is hitting .264 with an obp of .295 since returning from the DL
