    IF Willy Mo comes back and plays like he can, id be willing to make the move. WE NEED pitching and Mulder (who is not old, only 29) could fill the HUGE problem we have in the rotation.

    Scouting Report: Very athletic lefty. 2-seam and 4-seam fastballs sit in the low 90's, top out in the mid-90s, and have good movement. Lester also utilizes an above-average change-up, an 11-to-5 curveball which sits in the low 70s, and in 2005 worked on developing a cutter. Easy delivery motion with good explosion, similar to Andy Pettitte. Power strikeout pitcher, uses his fastball and occasionally his curve as his out pitch. While Lester typically has top notch control, occasionally he will have games where his control of certain pitchers is off. Very hard worker, prepares will for each game. Has also been compared to Mark Mulder. Great pickoff move.

    rotoworld very true, except for Alvarez being a better option than Pauley. Alvarez has sucked when he's been with the Sox in his career. Atleast Pauley was able to have one good game.

    Pauley has to wait untill June 22nd or 23rd to be able to be brought back up.

    ya, this would be a "need trade", since we only have 3 MLB starters right now and a s***** bench. I like Luna because he can steal bases and plays every position. And unlike Harris, Luna can hit.

    Snyder most likely will get the start Monday and then they'll go from there. theres a slight possibility Wells will be able to pitch towards the end of next week

    although Mulder's ERA this year has been awful, he still is 4th in all of baseball in GO/AO ratio, which is good considering the Sox have on of the best defensive infields in baseball

    Id rather see Pauley than Snyder. Snyder sucks and is at best a AAA pitcher.

    With Pujols out and the Cardinals lacking a good corner OF, what about a possible Manny deal with St. Louis? What about Mulder, Luna and Travis Hanson for Manny? something like that :dunno: a solid #2/3 starter we desperately need, a better bench player in Luna who would take Harris's spot and Hanson is a pretty good 3rd base prospect.

    They like Harris late in the game as a pinch runner/defensive substitution. For that reason he wont be sent down. The only way Kapler affects Harris is in a good way because now if Manny or Trot need a day off, Kapler can play instead of Harris

    anyone know how Lester hits? Has he ever hit in college or in the minors? Obviously its not important, but ujst wondering if he can swing the bat a little. I think he'll have a great game on the mound

    Cora's had a good game for himself, great AB there to keep the Sox alive

    other than the walk to morneau he did a good job. The hit Hunter had was a routine ground out on grass and then he got Kubel to ground into the DP
