    if you have both salty and tek, and they are splitting time....why not let tek catch wake? it's not like one of the (tek or salty) is a huge downgrade in the lineup plus tek is more experienced and would be able to handle it better. plus if you have a chance to get a next great catcher when your last great catcher is declining i think you have to do it no matter who is in your rotation.

    when did i ask about A-Rod and Manning? its a head to head competition with brackets until there is only one athlete left. i found it interesting how they pitted David Ortiz and Tom Brady against each other seeing how they share a fan base, that's all.

    The ESPN contest of "Who's Now" in sports starts today or yesterday i believe? later on this month they pit Tom Terrific against Big Papi, i found that pretty interesting who do you think wins? ps. wasnt sure where to put this

    RIP. i always got a kick out of seeing the sweat drip from the brim of his hat. the espn article makes him seem like the kind of guy you want to be around as much as you can if you have the oppurtunity. he'll be missed

    i cant remember the last time this team actually strung together some hits together to score some runs. they get their fair share of hits but i'm talking hit, after hit, after hit, after hit, and not giving in. it's beginning to get real frustrating. actually the last time i remember a strign of consecutive hits to drive in some runs was the back to back to back to back night.

    i think the point is that it doesnt add up. that leaves some room for speculation for things going on behind the scenes in the FO. i.e. a trade

    obviously the allstar game and homerun derby and the celebrity softball game are always televised. but i've never seen the futures game. is that on TV?

    true it is, but an rbi on an out doesnt really give much opurtunity for more runs. which i've noticed is a big problem for this team. almost every potential rally is started with 1 or 2 outs, which leaves little room for error.
