    whenever i see this i always question the order, but i never think to ask anyone who may actually know why it goes this way. To me it makes more sense for the smaller to come first then the larger such as "he couldnt buy and orange, let alone a home" or in this case "he couldnt walk or run without a limp, let alone play another inning". But i only ever seem to see it in the same format as the quoted text, maybe someone here could explain this to me?

    it didnt come down to us vs them for the spot, it was indi vs the jets. I had us winning out and indi losing two. One to the titans and the other to the jags on the road. i know the jags is an upset but i dont think it's out of the question. They are division rivals and the game is in Jax.

    i had titans, ravens, pats, broncos, steelers,jets giants, panthers, cardinals, vikings, bucs, and eagles there's mine, the pats might be a bit biased, but everything else i think is pretty objective

    does anyone remember the nintendo 64 game, "Major league baseball featuring ken griffey jr"? It was basically the same exact game as "Ken Griffey Jr. Slugfest". Anyway i traded for a team with all stars at every position (without any cheats, i was pretty proud), and my SS was of course Nomar Garciaparra, and half way threw the season nomar got injurred and i had to replace him with Tim Bogar on FA. Well i played a few more games and Bogar sucked so i started calling him Tim "Bogus". And he was the laughing stock of my childhood along with Jeff Frye. hahah, prob not funny to you guys, but i laughed pretty hard when i heard he was our new first base coach

    First off, let me say f*** manny. He was my favorite Red Sox player. And he could have gotten his number retired had he kept his mouth shut, which is what he said he wanted last offseason. He blew it. But, i do think that had he stayed on this team we would have won it all. Bay had great numbers, and he did a lot for this team down the stretch, and im a fan of the way he plays; but Manny creates a different atmosphere, he hits in a different spot in the lineup, he does different things. I think that had he stayed, and the Red Sox just ignored them like they always have, he would have come back, said something that no one understands but everyone thinks is funny, and he would have hit. Everything we have seen through the years backs up this point. He has always made a stink, and he has always come back. In short, he is a dousche for how he acted, but IMO we were a better team with him hitting 4th

    obviously im not in your league, but im in a 12 team league with friends and im in first but still looking to get better. should i trade thomas jones and randy moss for frank gore and maybe another wr, such as bowe or torry holt? right now my team is... Brian Westbrook Thomas Jones Chris Johnson Andre Johnson Randy Moss i have sammy Morris and Desean Jackson as guys that would fill in, or maybe be packaged for a wr.. this has been an ongoing discussion that he has wanted to play out by week, and until now i was pumped to do it but with tjones' recent stretch im starting to question it. if anyone could give an opinion that would be great

    the worst part for me is that i believe that Manny would cool down just as we have seen in the past. I dont know what's wrong with him, if he's just so much of a control freak that he wants to know that the sox will pick up his options or he wants to leave. Either that or maybe Borris is whispering in his ear. Either way im just 100% sick of this and i hope both sides come out with some nice statements about one another once the trade goes down, because this is too ugly to bear

    i hate that the redsox manny marriage is going to end in such a mess like this. IMO the best case scenerio is that the deal doesnt go through and manny shuts up and there's a clean break after the season. Manny has been my favorite redsox for a long time, and i dont know what's gotten into him lately but it will be very upsetting to see him leave town in this fashion. Especially seeing as just a few months ago people were questioning if he will get his number retired. This is such a miserable situation.

    I dont know where the rumors section went? but i guess i'll post this here. First off i want to add a disclaimer stating that what i just heard makes no sense for our current situation. However some "expert" on ESPN was just talking about the redsox being sick of Manny being Manny (again) and that we may be looking to trade him. This man said that it's possible that a trade to the mets could be possible due to Omar Minaya's mancrush on Ramirez, he said that an outfielder named Fernando Martinez. That is the part that doesnt make sense, our best hitter on a team that could use another bat, for a kid that wont participate this year and in the future does not have the ability to replace Manny's bat. Anyway does anyone think there is a chance that he knows what he is talking about and that we are actually so sick of manny that we may be once again looking to deal him?
