  1. thank you.
  2. So does that mean Youk can take all of Papi's votes? or does he have to start from scratch with way less time to amount votes?
  3. What happened? I didn't see that
  4. LET'S GO SUN DEVILS!!!!! http://fans.nhl.com/5A-image/350/profile.jpg
  5. Why are they moving Harrison to FS?
  6. Do you know which way they are leaning, or which he is better at? Is it possilbe to start him as a 3b, and if he doesn't succeed use him as a pitcher? kind of like Edgar Martinez?
  7. i thought that was wierd too, a little early on the annointing, not to mention not metnioning buccholz or bowden before him.
  8. Hmm, wonder where all those Dodger fans are now after last night?
  9. You're reading my mind.
  10. As of Apriil 23rd he had a .350 average to go along with a great .437 OBP and .937 OPS. I'm not a baseball genius, but taht ain't too shabby.
  11. Because ya know, J.D. Drew does not have a career average of .283 and did not get 6 MVP votes in 2004. I don't understand this vendetta you LA fans ahve against either us or him, but it doesn't even make sense. Also, though 2004 was his best year, it was not his only good year. As for Williams, hats off to him for sticking through it, if what you're saying is true, I'm sure he's not the only player to do so. And he ahs the luxury of us ahving the best record in abseball despite him, if we were in 2nd, he would be hearing the boo birds.
  12. Other than the total idiots of this board, I haven't seen this movement of about-faces your talking about. I still stand by Drew's signing and let's not forget he and Lugo sitll have time to turn it around. Alos, just wondering, where were all you Dodger fans in April when he was raking?
  13. I do feel it is very strict rule-wise, but with the salaries players are given it's no suprise everything and anything is done to keep them from harm's way, whether it be warning both sides afetr a HBP or wearing all the armor. I did not experience much of the old baseball days, when dirty slides like ARods where a given and part of the game, so I can't really say I miss it (though I think it would be much more entertaining).
  14. Nope, not at all, I think Trent Green is yeah of course it's sarcasm.
  15. well, now the Pats are just plain screwed.
  16. Good riddance, I'll trade his overrated ass for another 1st round pick. This is made easier since Eugene Wilson is abck and healthy.
  17. Yeha, he's honesly not that bad in CF.
  18. And I thought last month was the toughest of the season, that traveling could give us a Yanks-from-Japan type hangover.
  19. Yeah, exactly what i was thinking. Boys, we came back in this game, remember that, we were down 4-0 before we went crazy in the 5th. The ARod HR was Papelbon tryin' to pull a Major League and just blow him away on 3 straight fastballs. I knew if he threw him anoteher fastball I KNEW it would cranked, it should have at least been a waste splitter, as ARod got his timing down the first two fastballs. On another note, the Yankee bullpen outdueled the Sox last night, giving them 4.2 scoreless last night, outpitching our aces in Okajima and Papelbon, that won't happen every time. However, MO was vintage MO last night and it was pretty impressive to see what he and Posada were doing every pitch,a dn if they keep it going, we may not be able to think about any 9th inning comebacks anymore. Once Ortiz gets his hammies back, Drew gets back on track, which he will, and Papelbon sharpens up, we will beta the Yankees, convincingly.
