yes i like soriano, but only if manny gets traded, i like him because he can be a 40/40 guy, knock in at least 100 runs(done it twice 104 and 102) and has had one monster seasons in New York, which shows he can play in a high pressure environment....i like him alot and i'd much rather have him than huff...even if manny doesn't get traded i'd still like to see him with boston..think about it; ortiz manny soriano all guys that can get .300/40/100+

thank you!!!but, if we trade him to the white sox it be hard to get a good hitter out of it, maybe jermanie dye, but other than konkero(who isn't coming) i don't like a white sox trade..it would have to be a 3 way with another team or something...we could definatley get some good pitching :dunno:

if we keep manny, which i hope we do, i'd much rather see theo go after soriano as our 2nd basemen instead of huff as our first baseman ...soriano has better stats in homers, RBIs, and SBs...plus i think ortiz manny soriano is much better than a ex-devil ray behind manny...soriano has played in new york and has shown he can take the pressure...huff on the other hand is coming from one of the worst teams in baseball and the expections will be high...i go with soriano

quite frankley, i'm dont want to trade him, but you have to ask yourself if he's worth it...will he still produce his numbers when he doesn't want to be here...take this year for example...for the first time in a long tim he didn't hit over .300, he was 8 points short, and his doubles were way down(44 in 04, 30 in 05), his OPS was also not above 1000 this year for the first time in a long time...yes he's a great hitter, but is he worth it, if you don't think he is, then you have to get rid of him
