    Hes a piece of garbage. He smiled at the cameras all season long saying how much he loved it here and how much he wanted to be here but in the end he flat out lied. Its one thing if you just leave because of the money etc but dont tell me you cant make a decision because the futures of Posada, Rivera and Pettitte are undecided. Thats just ********. Good luck to the next team that signs this phoney piece of s***.

    Trading Cano would be a mistake IMO. Having Cano at 2nd base gives us an advantage over alot of teams. I know Santana is an ace but to part with Cano would be a mistake ESP if A-Rod departs.

    I have no problem with getting rid of Torre I just thought it was a little silly the way they did it. I would have prefer George hand Torre a pink slip right after Posada struck out in game 4 instead of the way it was done.

    I have to admit I'm kinda getting very annoyed with some of the comments Rivera has made since the end of the season. Why is he so hung up on not getting a deal done in spring training? This is the same team that has made him how much money? This team has given him millions and millions of dollars and he feels "disrespected" because the Yankees didnt get a deal done in Spring Training? He sounds like a little baby. I wish I was that disrespected.

    Well Jeter isn't done, Matsui hit 25 hr's this year and Damon was better the last 2 months when he was healthy. Both Giambi and Mussina are done. The problem even if they are done or not is getting rid of those contracts and they wont be able to do it. I think going foward the Yankees have Hughes, Chamberlain and Kennedy. I like the future of that staff.

    Yankees dont need to rebuild. They still have Jeter, Matsui, Damon, Giambi(God I hope they can dump him) Mussina all under contract. Retool is what they do and is what they will do.

    The bullpen needs some work with Joba moving into the rotation. Rivera needs to be back. I like Viz but Fransworth needs to go now.

    Yesterday was rough to watch. IMO this series is still far from over. We face Westbrook and Paul Byrd the next 2 games at home and we have always hit those guys. Clearly it comes down to our pitching. The only thing that pissed me off was game 1 when we had C.C. on the ropes and didnt delivery the knock out punch. Yesterday Carmona was nasty.

    I still think Hughes is gonna be a great pitcher. I'm throwing this year out. He got injured and hes only had what 5 starts? Look at Homer Bailey and his 7 ERA and I don't think anything less of him.
