    He does the Giambi thing all the time and it drives me f***ing crazy. How many times this year does he pinch run for Giambi and it bites us in the ass later. At this point believe it or not but Bruney might be our best pitcher out of the pen. Why the f*** is he not in the 7th or the 8th inning? If you use Bruney in the 7th then you can use Proctor in the 8th(or vise versa). I thought bring Mo in the 8th was a mistake. Right now Rivera isnt right. He cant locate at all. I think asking Rivera to get 5 outs right now is asking too much. I love how Torre said in spring training he would only use Rivera for 3 outs. All of a sudden hes pitching in the 8th. f***ing idiot!

    The Devils have had trouble selling out there arena for years now. The only time they are garenteed to sell out is when the Rangers play them.

    I'm glad Mussina took himself out of the game. Its way to early in the season to be taking chances like that.

    So the Yankee front office got him on the front cover of the baseball america hand book and ranked the best pitching prospect in baseball? There are many cases of the Yankee front office hyping up prospects. Brandon Claussen was an overhyped prospect. Hughes is highly touted by not only the front office but by BA, Baseball Prospectus John Sickles ETC. Im curious when have you watched him pitch? EDIT: I dont think every Yankee prospect is great either. I think Tyler Clippard is a tad over hyped. I'd like to see Humberto Sanchez get healthy before i call him the greatest also but I cant knock Hughes proformence in the minors so far in his career.

    Sadly Hughes and Clippard arent on the 40 man roster. The one person on the 40 that I think will get the call is Chase Wright. Hes off to a great start in AA.

    Henn has been good. I was at a game like 2 years ago against the Mets when he was pretty much scared to throw a strike. What a turn around. BTW does Clippard pitch tonight? Because then he would be on regular rest to take Mussina's next start.

    The pen has been outstanding. Its way too early to worry about the roation. When we get Wang back and Mussina/Pettitte get more starts under their belt they will be fine.

    Im not worried about Mussina. It usually takes him a couple of starts to get his velocity where he wants it. It wasnt just his velocity that did him in tonight. He had zero control over his pitches.

    Yeah the bullpen really impressed me today. Outstanding work from those boys. BTW they have really gotten far with the new stadium.
