I don't understand the direction on this team. Why even give Devers 300 Mil last year if this is your approach? Should have traded him for propects. They clearly have zero interest in winning anymore. Even Jansen is cheesed off. Most players are cheesed off.

Get it done JH, we need pitching big time. Snell is the only other option and he will most likely get 300M as well. Unless they get Montgomery but I feel he won't be that cheap either.

Jansen was garbage pitching in back to back games last year. He was only effective pitching on rest. This should be a concern for the up coming season

The details on this deal is wild $68MM of Ohtani’s $70MM annual salary will be deferred, leaving him making just $2MM per year in the short term. The deferred money is to be paid out without interest from 2034 to 2043. This will reduce the CBT hit of the contract to around $46MM per year.
