I was a huge Nomar fan and always will be. You can't believe everything you read. He had great numbers with his tenure with the Sox and to this day I can't believe they traded him. The Sox win the WS in 2004 with or without Nomar. And the fact they didn't get a superstar for the trade is still mind boggling.

Yanks shooting themselves in the foot. Dropped ball by Bader which would of been a 7 pitch inning for Cole and ended the inning. Next batter promptly hits a 2 run jack

Well that's what go by. The people who qualified. You don't give the batting champion to a batter who doesn't have the AB.

This new playoff format sucks ass. A team having to play 5 straight away games before having a home game? What a joke. And not to mention having to burn your top pitchers while the other team gets to save them. This ain't football where rest is the only advantage. It's a lot more impact in baseball.

Turner will be getting around 300K. Xander is just as good as Turner (yes he is) and you would retain him for cheaper than that
