  1. Good AB regardless of result...
  2. I was wondering why there was already 1 outs.
  3. The tag was late...
  4. He was clearly safe, NESN showed a great angle.
  5. This is such ********
  6. If Dubront gets out of this with 1 run, I will be impressed.
  7. Dubront is unraveling...
  8. f***ing Sky Dome... that is probably a single anywhere else.
  9. Man, he is looking good so far!
  10. Nesn plays Guster, Mannyhof appreciates!
  11. I retract my anger. Sorry!
  12. I don't want to sound like a whiner, but I feel like Red Sox pitches have gotten no breaks from umpires so far this season.
  13. Jesus, he has had 10 AB. Shut up.
  14. Man Nesn is really keeping my interest with all these tidbits!
  15. Cody Ross's spring training magic is gone... That was a scorched though
  16. Ortiz is hitting well so far!
  17. It's gonna get real s***** real fast if Dubront can only go 5 innings tonight. Hopefully he can give us a good effort.
  18. Who closes tonight if a situation presents itself?
  19. What makes you think that Bard can succeed as a stater? Hey I am not saying I am not curious to see what Bard can do in the rotation, but I believe closing is more important than what our 5th starter does. Basically Cook could fall flat on his ass, but if Bard sures up the bullpen, it would still be a good move IMO. (as long as Buchholz and Beckett don't suck!!--- in that case it may really be a long season).
  20. Hey at least it only took us 3 games into the season to figure out that Aceves can't do the job. I'm having a hard time seeing how Bard isn't going to end up as the closer sooner rather than later. I think Padilla's outting was so encouraging, we just need a stopper to finish the game. It's bard. It has to be. I am willing to bet, with as good as Cook has looked in Spring and his first AAA game that he can be as good or better as Bard as a starter. This is just like 2007, we wanted Paps to be a starter, but closing games was his most helpful role to the team. Remember that season, Joel Pinero could have been our closer? Sound familiar? I'm not saying Bard is Papelbon, but he is the closet thing we have to a sure bet in the 9th.
  21. I guarantee Ellsbury would have been plunked had he stayed up to bat.
  22. I predict Iggy to be the short stop by May 1.
