  1. Could you please cry a little more?
  2. I'm getting the NESN feed from MLB.tv and they are not showing a scoreboard. Think it might have something to do with them running HD as well.
  3. Much like Vlad who looks very awkward running.
  4. Thanks. Much like looking at pics from the Sox World Series, that Bus pic always makes me smile. I can't say I give a s*** what he did at ND, but I'll never forget his years in black and gold.
  5. I think Coco coming back will make Loretta a better offensive player. I think they really started to click at the begining of the season. Youk needs to be further down in the lineup to drive in runs. Him being at the top of the order is the reason for our lack of run production, and it's also the reason AGon is always hitting with people on base.
  6. Well every pitcher is easier to hit the second time through the order. Can you please explain to me why his 90mph slider would be any easier to hit the second time through the lineup than another pitchers 90mph slider? If the pitch is effective it's effective. I'm definatly not saying Hansen is going to be an effective starter because I've never seen him start a game, but your arguement is pure ********.
  7. Willie has come up big a few times already. Running us out of an inning when we already have a 3 run lead doesn't bother me.
  8. Seanez could be pitching to Pony Leaguers and they'd be teeing off on him. It's simple ... wait for him to throw a fastball.
  9. OK regardless if it's location or life, the guys cooked, and needs to be let go.
  10. I think Ichiro is very overrated.
  11. As long as the Yankees exist, 99% of the country is going to hate them, and they're going to say they suck. Get over it.
  12. I'm not talking about having good stuff. I'm talking about having life on your pitches. Too many of Seanez's pitches look like they should be thrown during BP.
  13. Arod being on this list makes it a complete joke. He may not be clutch but he is one of the top 5 hitters in the game, and a great fielder. I hate Arod, but even I can't call the guy overrated.
  14. Seanez no longer has big league stuff. His pitches have no life. He needs to be gone yesturday.
  15. People want to get rid of Loretta, a career .300 hitter, and bring in Adam Kennedy, a guy who's hit .300 twice in his career ... that makes sense. Loretta is doing fine, and he'll get better.
  16. Will someone please tell Willy Taveras to steal a god damn base.
  17. The fact that he has gap power ... Also Eckstein runs like his head is on fire, so saying he's a little slower isn't exactly a bad thing.
  18. It all depends on what we have to give up for him. While Cesar isn't a great upgrade he is a player who has yet to come into his prime, while AGon is actually in the 2nd year of his prime and has yet to show any significant increase in skills, and actually showed a dramatic drop off in the first year of his prime. Don't get me wrong I'm fine with AGon, but if we can get Cesar on the cheap, I'd at least consider it.
  19. The Mets wouldn't trade Wright for any player in the league. He's in that next wave of great players. I'm not sold on Lester as I've never seen him pitch, but I also wouldn't trade our 3 top spects for Willis. There are few pitchers who can come in and have the impact Paps has. If Lester can do that, I'd be amazed. I'm not sure we need more hitting. I love our defense, and I don't think I'd sacrifice any of it for another bat. Once Coco comes back Youk can go back to the bottom of the lineup. It'll add a much needed consistant stick down there to drive in runs. The offense will be fine.
  20. Also the first time around the NL he's going to have some success because these hitters haven't seen him in 4 years, or at all. The second time through they'll find out he's a very predictable pitcher who relies too heavily on his curveball, and cannot consistently locate his fastball.
  21. If Halladay can actually stay off the injured list long enough to pitch this game it'll be under, so that's my vote.
  22. What do you mean 12 year old f***tard? Isn't it cool to call everyone gay? Seriously though Rivernator it's time to grow up. Not only does this make you look like a little kid but it also prevents anyone from being able to find this thread in the future, because of the ridiculous name. So RiverGAYtor ... just list the teams names.
  23. I voted no. Eventually he'll forget how to locate his fastball, again. He's a flash in the pan just like the Reds.
  24. Just mute the TV when she starts talking ... you'll like her a lot more.
  25. God knows people on that YES board really know their baseball ...
