    Or you could have a dominate one which leaves no question if you give him the ball in the 9th. Hey I love winning 1 game every 5 days ... but I'd rather have a chance to win all 5 if we can get the lead to Paps. Do you not remember last year? The feeling going into the 9th inning with a lead ... were you honestly comfortable once last year? I wasn't. I'll take 40+ saves over 15 wins.

    It's not about "homerism". Homerism would be saying "WE'RE GONNA WIN OUT AND SWEEP THE PLAYOFFS CAUSE WE'RE THE BEST!!!!!". I'm just not willing to quit ... like yourself. I'm talking about the people on this board who jumped off 2 weeks ago, and said we won't make the playoffs.

    I was trying to say that he needs to get his head in the game, and give 100% ... I don't blame single players for losing ... we win and lose as a team. The fact that you have to mention that he was working his ass off proves my point. And how good his glove is has nothing to do with my point.

    Incorrect, as none of them failed to hustle after the ball. I have no problem with a player making an error as long as he hustles after the ball and prevents anymore damage. Pena thinking he can't beat Coco to the ball means nothing. What if Coco wasn't backing him up? Then thats an ITPHR. Do you really want a player than hangs his head in shame and shuffles his feet when he makes a mistake? I don't.

    I'd like to see them get swept out of the first round. The less playoff experience their young players get the better.

    Just one example ... In his first game in RF Pena missed a ground ball, turned around and began walking back to the ball. Coco got to the ball before him eventhough it was right behind Pena him laying against the wall.

    I'd say the majority of baseball fans don't see this as anything more than a normal divisional rivalry. If you're not an old man, or born/live in Cali chances are you don't care/know about this rivalry.
