    As of right now, Wake doesn't have a spot in the starting rotation and even if he does, IRRC V-Mart did a solid job with him last season. I think one inning of Varitek catching him in the '04 ALCS and Josh Bard made us think that it takes a catching prodigy to catch a knuckler.

    I'm not big on Cameron but he does have solid power for a CF. And the last thing any FO should do is choose not hurting a player's feelings over what they feel is best for the team.

    Rosenthal is saying on Twitter that Hall is headed to Boston for Kotchman. He didn't specify if there was more headed back our way.

    It makes sense. Fenway's LF plays right into Ellsbury's weak throwing arm too.

    I haven't really been following the thread but with the Beltre signing, where exactly does Lowell fit on this team provided the roster stays as is? Kotchman appears to be Youk's back up at first, Beltre will play third and Lowell clearly isn't suited to be a utility infielder.

    PNC Park in Pittsburgh looks spectacular and it really couldn't go to a worse organization

    It also doesn't factor in pitchers pitching around Pujols more compared to Howard, who has a penchant for striking out
