  1. Mark Recchi is a Bruin
  2. Nokeleinen (sp?) has been traded to the Ducks for Steve Montador. There's your defensive depth right there
  3. It's a harmless comment at it's core cause who wouldn't want Reyes on their team but A-Rod HAS to know how fans and media will twist the comment and because of that, he's a moron.
  4. Mikael Tellqvist went to Buffalo which isn't significant for Boston aside from the fact that it takes away a landing spot for Manny Fernandez
  5. I'm a bit skeptical until Boras' mouth-piece Jon Heyman confirms it
  6. The reason Derek Morris would be a good fit is cause he's a free agent at the end of the year and it shouldn't take that much to get him
  7. Antropov will be traded today guaranteed and like YH said above, Kaberle hurt his hand last night which basically means he'll be traded at the draft rather than today. And yea, Bergeron's salary makes him a little hard to move but he isn't under contract long-term so it makes his contract a bit easier to swallow
  8. I remember Gabe Gross hit something like 8 home runs in ST for the Jays a few years back so I believe tempered expectations comes in this time of year
  9. The emergence of Krecji makes Bergeron expendable in my eyes
  10. Not so fast...
  11. cause baseball iz kewl
  12. he's like a miniature buddha....covered in hair
  13. Well, forget that rumored Pronger deal. He's been taken off the market by the Ducks. Now I probably see the Bruins getting Derek Morris
  14. I've heard a deal revolving around Bergeron for Chris Pronger could happen tomorrow and I think the Bruins would be best served trying to get something for Fernandez
  15. There will be cheaper short-term solutions for the Bruins if Thomas' demands get a bit extravagant. Either way, I don't think anyone will pay a 36 year old goaltender $6 million, especially with the cap going down significantly in 2010-2011
  16. lol @ a guy named Enrique Rojas getting the scoop. No Olney, Heyman, Gammons, Rosenthal or Stark
  17. Why they backed out of getting his elbow checked up by a doctor is beyond me...
  18. Yea, I'd take Theodore over Niittymakki or Biron but if Washington is depending on Theodore to give them good enough goaltending, they're living on a prayer. Nicklas Backstrom from Minnesota would've fit in great there but he re-signed with the Wild today
  19. From Boston.com That tells me the team thought his shoulder was stronger by now that what it actually is. They'll scale back his throwing program and go from there.
  20. The Caps have no goaltending. That's gonna become painfully apparent during the playoffs. But I'll reserve all playoff thoughts until I see how every team looks 24 hours from now after the trade deadline
  21. New Jersey is gonna be the team to beat come playoff time. That deal they made for Havelid yesterday was great
  22. The Bucs need a quarterback who can actually stretch the field, that would get the running game going
  23. I remember Brodeur letting in a really bad goal a few years back. He went out to play the puck with his stick but it deflected off his stick and went in. It happens to the best of 'em
  24. It's not even about what it would be competing with in November, how many guys would wanna play a tournament after playing a 162+ game season?
