    I'd be concerned if only for the fact that he plays a position that puts a lot of stress on the hip. I guarantee a lot of teams are gonna use the bunt down the third base line to test him

    im somewhat surprised the Yankees are opting for such a band-aid solution for a guy who's under contract for the next 9 years

    So what? There are currently three other guys on the roster who can play CF Look, I get the fact that Wilkerson has more versatility than Bailey/Carter but my point is, unless any of the OFs are injured, Wilkerson shouldn't be in the lineup over those two

    I'm sure there will be, and hopefully Kotsay will be healthy by then who knows, Eric Hinske made the best catch a RF has made at Fenway in years

    Assuming Ellsbury, Drew, Bay and Baldelli are healthy, Wilkerson shouldn't be anywhere near Fenway. Carter or Bailey on the other hand should make the opening day roster

    True but I still wouldn't find it too alarming that he's only batted .091 thus far

    He played with it since May so basically he had a broken wrist during his entire Red Sox stint. It makes sense that he wouldn't have said anything about it though. Lugo went down, his opportunity came up and he wasn't gonna let it pass him by if he is able to deal with the pain.
