    Doesn't it have to do with starting pitchers being on a regular schedule pitching every 5th day as opposed to relievers who might pitch two days in a row, have three games off, etc. not allowing the body to get into any sort of rhythm?

    it's a high probability of success in the sense that I think we'd all be pretty shocked if none or even one of these guys contributed fairly significantly to this team.

    It's just dumb though. The absolute only way to judge these signings is at the end of the season. It's like all those stupid columns that pick winners and losers the day after the NFL draft.

    Yea, its a nice roster in terms of showcasing our depth, but that team doesn't belong anywhere near a major league game. We play a similar game like that in Canada everytime the winter olympics come around. We take a look at the men's hockey roster and then make a second roster out of guys who were left off and both teams could conceivably medal.
