    Real simple. Cora is a back-up player. Millar, is supposed to be a power hitting 1st baseman/ outfielder. He ( Millar ) has not produced. Cora, on the hand , has in the role that was expected of him.

    I believe myself and a good portion of this Forum is well aware of that aspect of informational flow. But this Forum, in my view is somewhat of an escape vehicle from the everyday mundain ******** of responsibilities and factual data. We come here to express our opinions, try to relay information, and just have fun. I doubt the majority of members here are naive enough to beleive everything they see or read in the media. Lighten up a little.

    That's a bit Draconion isn't it. Hansen may still come up ( I'd rather have the FO be may it safe ). Shoppach's injury has not been diagnosed yet, and I doubt he would very much time in a tight play-off run.

    Mussina has always been a class guy, both in Baltimore and New York. He's been a quality work horse, chewing up alot of quality innings. He also keeps his mouth shut, does his job without controversy. I'm sorry to hear of his elbow problems. Although it may end up helping the Sox ( which is good ), I'd rather win by competition then by default ( injury ).

    Basically, I think the game was at the very least, an improvement over his first start. As noted he did make adjustments after the 2nd inning and pitched fairly well, giving us a chance to comeback. I hope that this trend of improvement continues, because we really could use him in the stretch drive.
