Wade Miller becomes a pawn for the post season. If they have Miller on the post season roster and he's on the DL, and stays on DL, then the Sox can take anyone that is on the forty man roster and substitute him for Miller. Which would mean that the Sox can look at the kids ( including Hansen ) and then use one for the play-offs.

Interesting question. He swings a nice bat, and I'd say he's about equal ( maybe a little lower ) than Millar defensively. Down side he can play another position and he's another left hand bat.

The prevelent thought was 2 reasons : Doug was hitting like 400 against the pitcher and chance for the long ball ( least that's what was stated on NESN ).

With the exception of a few, most of the a holes come here solely to piss us off. Usually, after those rare occasions when the Yanks win and we lose. They won't be back if Papelbon or anyone else shut's them down. If we can't ban them, then just ignore them. Unless and until they can intelligently discuss baseball within the context of this site.

If you have valid points that you want to make or debate, that's fine. But I can tell you this hit and run and attempt to hi jack and dominate threads won't be tolerated.

Like I said, I can only speak from my experiences, and for the most part, no problems with Yankee's fans. For the most part the comments were humerous and well informed. It was just a few *******s ( they're every where ) that came to the game, not for the sake of the game, but just to cause problems. You know the type, it doesn't matter where the hell the go they either show up half in the bag or totally mashed or sometimes not drinking at all. An *******, is an *******, doesn't matter where they are: a party, a bar, ballgame, etc. It happens on both sides. I mean its like the old cliche ; How was your weekend ? Perfect ! Why ? Because I got s*** faced, got into a fight, and got laid.
