    I don't think that the Sox gave up on Miller. I think that they will shut him down for the season though.

    Yes A-Rod has some great stats. But, he carries baggage. First, he had a rather dismal year ( for A-Rod standards ) and was deemed a failure ( understand adjustments and all ), second he got off to a bad start this year, third he's a Yankee ( last time a Yakee won an MVP, especially without being an overhelming favorite ), and finally, MVP's are usually given to a player that, not only has great stats, but carried at team to playoffs or better. That will be a problem.

    Well, since this for the wildcard, Got to be Cleveland because of weak schedule and talent. The Yanks have NO chance at winning the division, besides this isn't the thread topic. The Yanks if healthy, would be scary if healthy, but that's the problem. They seem to have that injury bug/flu/curse, whatever you want to call it. But it seems just when they have some players coming back someone gets hurt. I mean the usual sore arms, backs, etc. but urinary track infections ? How do you spell relief ?

    I'm firmly convinced that there is no perfect manager. But I would say Torre and Tito would be classified as good, if you based it on results. The reason is that we all can play would have should have, as far as numerous decisions are concerned, and we may be right. The problem is our alternatives are based conjecture ( although my be based on statistics ) and there is no way to see what would have happened. All we get to see is what did happen. This is unlike a video game as an example. In the video game you can allows replay and try another decision/choice/move, and evently you will figure out the decision tree logic ( if this, then this ) and solve the game. So therefore, the results are what matter. Although, it makes for great discussion, which is what makes the game great.

    What do mean by split ? I you mean both being so good that they take votes from each other, yes. If you mean do the voters vote by team, yes. Otherwise, I'm not sure of the question ??
