    I was at the game, the second this happened....the dynamic of the game changed. I think this helps the team moving forward.

    Delgado and Tejada are both old man. The biggest problem with this team right now is that the look old and unathletic. Tejada maybe at a short deal, Delgado....no way. Coco, I agree somewhat about Lars, but I still think its early. He may not be ready this year, or next.....but I think he still has some promise.

    I hope you are right, but they are 8-13 since the break, and one of the biggest reasons they were so successful in the first half, Jason Bay, hasnt hit in months. Throw in the fact that the bullpen just got maxed out over the last few games and the injuries that are adding up, I just dont know. I want to be wrong though, and I hope you are right.

    Does expwl make anyone feel better about being 6.5 games back? Not me, according to exp w-l records, the sox are equal to the yankees right now, which clearly isnt true since they just got smeared by the Yanks. Dont bring up the 8-0 record earlier this year, bc the Yankees are clearly a different team, and so is Boston.

    Poor baby, maybe he should retire and give back all the money then. Welcome to professional sports Alex, deal with it. And kicking the fans ass in front of kids, yeah...that would have showed them to call him out after a poor game. I am sure no fan has ever called him out before or boo'ed him, especially considering the money he makes.

    Well they didnt sign him to round out their AA pitching rotation, regardless of how he pitches in the minors, the minor league season is coming to a close soon (shorter than MLB season), so I would assume that regardless, they are gunna give him a shot.

    Byrd is a better option than Bowden at this point? s***, at least Id enjoy watching Bowden struggle as a minor leaguer than a washed up guy who hasnt thrown a pitch all year.
