  1. He had Bard warming up before Okijima. I think Bard was a better fit, hindsight is nice yes, but I think Bard would have fared better, thus saving Papelbon 2 innings of work.
  2. Ellllllssssss
  3. Sloooooow Downnnnnnnn. Wagner has pitched in 4 games this season, 14 months removed from Tommy John surgery. Best setup guy in the majors? Thats pushing it. Impressive so far, definately.
  4. WHHHHHHHHHHHHHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
  5. How did he hold that bat back?>
  6. I guess you really did finish him then hahahha.
  7. WOWWWWWWWW......GG play there.
  8. Mortal Kombat: FINISH HIMMMMMMMMMMMM
  9. that was a little impressive
  10. wow, BADDDDDDDDDDDDDD managing.
  11. bad news.......get him the f*** outta there, awful.
  12. Wagner has been dirty.
  13. Nothing short of taking it all makes me happy, you play to win the game. With the money the team makes, and the money they charge to see the old team play, and the talent up and down the roster, just win baby.
  14. They did change them slightly already, and they look stupid (although I like the greys).
  15. How? He wont be eligible for the roster.
  16. Ichiro has zero critics. Hes a first ballot HOF. Who knows what he would have done if he played his whole career in the US. Pete Rose would prob be #2 all time in hits if Ichiro played his whole career here. If Ichiro wanted to sacrifice his own style of play, he prob could have hit 20 HR a year, not to mention if he played in the 80's, hed average 80-90 SBs a year with his OB skills. He is also prob one of the all time best fielding outfielders who could average 25+ OF assists if runners werent terrified of his cannon. Ichiro, had he played his whole career in the US, would be one of the games best players ever. Had he played in the earlier decades, he would have been the last hitter to bat .400. Ichiro is a baseball machine who I wish played on this side of the US so I could see how great he was. He will collect his 2000th hit in under 10 seasons, good lord. With Posednick, I see your comparison.
  17. Good comparison, but I doubt Gathright ever gets a chance to do what Nixon did. The game has changed so much since Nixons career. There are not that many of those types in the league anymore who play everyday. Pierre comes to mind as a small ball speedster but even he has had to fight critics, plus hes head and heels better than Nixon and Gathright as he finds ways of getting on base and using his god given speed. I dont think Gathright will ever find a role much more than PR.
  18. Same here. Is Kazmir really a worse option than Paul Byrd?
  19. No, I dont think hes pitched at any level. Has a great arm though.
  20. Nah, I liked watching Nick Green more. Cant believe he hit 91 on the gun!!!!!! Should think about a career changing move since he cant hit his weight or field a ground ball. Dude does have a cannon.
  21. wow, I cant believe Javier Lopez is still pitching in the organization, I completely forgot about him.
