  1. Need to keep the offense rolling. Never know with Wake!
  2. Red Sox 2,3,4 and 5 hitters have all gone deep
  3. Is Hermida even in the majors this year?
  4. Pedroia struck out in the 4th, homered in the 5th, walked in the 6th, and is nwo up in the 7th. On the 2011 Red Sox you get an at-bat every inning.
  5. i think 20 runs is under-estimating this one potentially. SALTS MCGALTS!
  6. CANT STOP, WONT STOP
  7. I say we shoot for 20 runs today
  8. Ortiz has turned into a bad man. He just doesn't give a F about anythign anymore.
  9. RED SOX OFFENSE. CAN'T STOP, WON't STOP. Oh, and Lester is one mistake from still having a perfect game.

  11. Lester has been bothering me lately. He's pitching like he did when he was a rookie.
  12. Tell me the difference between a guy with speed batting 2nd or 6th. *Crickets*
  13. Seems like a lot of you guys don't live in New England.
  14. desperately need a W
  15. Always love the old school uniforms. Fenway might as well go all out here:
  16. I think it's kind of cool how much pitching is making a comeback. I really watching 2-1, 3-2 ballgames and the recent abundance of no-nos rather than 10-9 slugfests. Watching well pitched game reminds me of watching Pedro back in the day. Kind of didn't care what Troy O'Leary was doing at the plate just wanted to see Pedro dominate.
  17. I'm (2-2) I was at the game we were 2-10, Beckett pitched a gem. Then the Dice-K 1-hitter 2 days later. I went to the game Doug Fister shut us out. What a waste of a Saturday night. I remember just getting drunk and heckling Ichiro for no reason other than I was pissed at how bad the Sox were playing. I was also at the game that went to 2:45 in the morning, but I left around 11:30, so technically you can't blame me for that loss... lol
  18. The tendencies of the league are always changing and evolving. Remember how many good hitting shortstops there were in the AL in the 90s? Jeter, A-Rod, Nomar, Visquel, Guzman. There's not too many stars at SS for the AL these days. Lowrie? Peralta? Aybar? Andrus? lol
  19. Why is there such a great game on a night I have so many chores to do? I leave on vacation tomorrow for a week I don't have time for this game. Maybe I'll flip on the old radio
  20. Imagine if we still have Martinez behind the plate. Ellsbury Pedroia Gonzalez Youkilis Ortiz Martinez Crawford Lowrie Drew
  21. I'm a newbie and a longtime poster. My join date trumps a lot of you but my post count doesn't. We kind of need a new gamethread for today. Whats the practice is a poster fails to follow through on a winning series of gamethreads? Anyway here's today's lineup, PapiEnFuego can copy this over when the thread is made. RED SOX (21-20) Ellsbury CF Pedroia 2B Gonzalez 1B Youkilis 3B Ortiz DH Lowrie SS Cameron RF Crawford LF Saltalamacchia C Pitching: RHP Clay Buchholz (4-3, 3.94). TIGERS (22-19) TBA Pitching: LHP Phil Coke (1-5, 4.54) Game time: 7:10 p.m.
