  1. Hell yeah. More of that please.
  2. Good start...........cheerleader mojo?
  3. I'd jump on Padilla......... Kendra Padilla http://www.denverbroncos.com/resources/custom/Cheerleaders/2005/Midlengths/padilla.jpg
  4. It's a shame Clement(ine) needed another day of rest, because the rainout could have pushed Lester's debut back to another day. It isn't the best scenario to break into the bigs. A team that mashes LHP (.895 OPS split) in a park that doesn't suit LHP on a chilly, rainy NE day. Plus, I won't get to watch it because Fox licks monkey balls. Oh well, it is better to pop his cherry now and see how he handles it because they may need him to contribute down the stretch if they keep having problems with the rotation. EDIT: I went to school with a kid named Nate Gray. We called him Nate the Great. I might revert and do the same with you NateGrey.
  5. NO RAIN! http://www.travellerspoint.com/photos/19538/thumb_israel%20344%20(Custom).jpg And this shall rule the day. http://users.sdccu.net/hoggy/images/kb.jpg
  6. Please, please let the USS Varitek be righted now.
  7. Alex "If you bet on the Sox, your money is" Gonzalez IT WORKED! IT WORKED! Negative Mojo wins again.
  8. Alex "Your hopes will soon be" Gonzalez Alex "My ability to hit is" Gonzalez Bueller?........Bueller?
  9. http://marshall13.com/pg2b/half-full.w.jpg HALF-EMPTY!!!
  10. Yay, negativity rules.................NEGATIVITY MOJO!!!!
  11. C'mon Trot....that'll do. Oh wait, that won't do, you needed to go yard there because Two-Out Tek is coming up.
  12. I actually think Cano will show more power than he has if he tweaks his swing a bit. He hits the ball hard, but he doesn't usually generate a lot of lift since his swing isn't much of an upper cut. If he does move to a COF spot, they ought to consider making that adjustment and taking advantage of the short porch.
  13. This just ain't the year. They cannot keep it in the park.
  14. Frying Pan Hands makes a play? You know it isn't your night when Giambi isn't tripping over himself in the field.
  15. What you need is one of those 1000 gallon heating oil tanks that people have outside their houses..........ah f*** it, get a supertanker and dock in the local pond. A little small ball? I hope taking the bat out of Crisp's hand pays off.
  16. RF favors players with pitchers who get a lot of ground balls and in-field fly balls. The Yankees are 5th in GB% and 1st in IF/FB rate. He gets more chances than the average 2B, and RF isn't dependent on total chances. The scouting reports don't like his range, and what I've seen with my eyes makes me agree with them. Also, peak occurs at around 27 y/o, but athletic peak is usually right around 22. He won't get any faster.
  17. Trot should have had that one. Damon should have been on third to score, but he gets doubled up as he ponders the meaning of the word "is" (rumor has it he's going to try out the Clinton defense when Michelle catches him running around).
  18. Another gopher ball? Our pitchers can't seem to keep it in the park. Prior to tonight they were 21st in the league (whole league) in least homers allowed, with 69, now it's up to 71.
  19. Like clockwork......
  20. It's already been covered by some, but Tek hitting 6th could prove to be an epic blunder here.
  21. I think there is a 97.83% chance that Trot GIDP's here. He's been squibbing it a bit lately. 0-2 count, a K is OK Trot, no squibbers.
  22. Let's get the Merry-Go-Round started!
  23. Yeah, the ball has to be "playable" to count toward BABIP. I think CBA (Contact Batting Average), which is BABIP with the homers included, is a good measure of how hard someone is hitting the ball.
  24. BABIP for hitters is real easy to calculate: (H - HR) / (AB - HR - SO + SF)
  25. I remember reading that he's NOT a goat-f***er, so he's got that going for him.
