As Im sure about 90% of members on here have heard that the Yankess will be doing away with their historic park "the house that Ruth built" for a new $800 million dollar stadium that will be built on same street and ready for spring 2009. I was just wondering what yankee and sox fans think on this new stadium, as well as eventually tearing down the 82 year old Yankee Stadium. I do think that this new stadium would look like a fine ballpark as the ballparks of the early 20th century were, however I do believe in preserving history, yankees or otherwise

actually if you go over to portland's main wwebsite it shows his role is still shortstop, he has in several games filled in at second base. it could be likely if edgar has same year as this season, possibly see Hanley get the call up in07 to be the new shortstop, with egar possibly be traded off
