  1. I think its more likely that the Sox could trade off Kevin Youkilis
  2. Id say so, since the all-star break he has reached safely in 7 straight games, compiling 9 total walks!! which means on base percentage compared to before all-star break has been risen considerably
  3. ok let me just say, for all the yankee fans who have complained to us about red sox nation invading each away game that the sox play. turn on espn right now, if you dont have it on of course, and you will see that like about 75% of the fans in the rangers' stadium are yankee fans
  4. Hyzdu has been given the number of 25 while newcomer Tony G has #10
  5. i dont know that 6.18 ERA is alarming. In 43 2/3 innings he has given up 56 hits, 33 Runs scored, 5 homeruns, 9 walks, and 26 Strikeouts
  6. him serving as assistant linebackers coach will still be pulling punches for the pats' defense
  7. it seems like every day ill see mueller dive for a ball that couldve easily been a hit, then he'll quickly get up and throw a rocket to get the man out on first. he has still got the goods thru next season for the sox
  8. youk I bet is more or less gettin tired and pissed off i bet at francona and upper management for him being the yo-yo this season. Bill Mueller is having a gold glove year for Sox, so them having him stay on at 3rd base with Tony G, a 13 year veteran with know-how of every position except for pitcher and catcher on the bench is better solution. Hey and Sox can also put Halamma into the mix of players they can trade, haha, god he now leads the pitchers in ERA at 6.18 after givin up the 2-run shot.
  9. haha sorry, true we did post at exact same time, great sox fan minds think alike
  10. update even though bruschi is up to 90% better, he has decided not to return to play for 05-06 season, but will be serving on the sidelines as assistant linebackers coach
  11. Nothing new from what Ive seen of Tony G , told you guys once I heard it was confirmed, that this guy can hit and he can defend.--find it very respectable and showed he wants to be a red sox player since he himself took a pay cut to come on board here in boston, thats rare nowadays
  12. they can designate him for assignment after callin a prospect up or if they are able to make that trade for lefty JC Romero, yes even if that means youkilis has to be traded.
  13. halamma got lucky from the pop-up, after giving up a 2 out single
  14. okkk yea, theo just needs to give halamma pink slip as well, with that 2-run shot, his ERA has spiked over 6 now
  15. cool have a 2 game lead over them now, now sights towards tonights yankees' game
  16. the 3 main players i see sox goin after are burnett, wagner, and romero
  17. jeez nice stuff from bradford, 1-2-3 inning of just 7 pitches. theys hould still give curt the 9th inning even if not save situation, still give him more playing time
  18. remy had said trot told him his arm has been acting up a little on him
  19. i dont think at all that now sox have tony G on the roster, wont be looking at soriano
  20. side note, watching the nesn pre-game report, actually talking about the yanks might be interested in embree, they can take him
  21. including hit by pitch, has been on base twice--what i liked his first at bat even if it was a groundout, he does what millar is skillful at bat, making the pitcher throw lots of his pitches which first at bat he made brazelton throw 9
  22. thats my boy Tony G first game in sox uniform, no errors thus far with good defense, on base twice thru 5th inning, and first hit was an RBI double off of the green monster
  23. alright thats my boy Tony G, first game he gets an RBI Double off the monster
  24. off the subject, but I do give props to alex cora's play in the 5th inning. I was just watching baseball tonight on ESPN and they showcased him as the # 1 screen gem play of all of the games played yesterday
  25. quick update, anybody that has ESPN you can switch back and forth to the baltimore/twins game thats also at 1
