  1. if wade is able to do what he does from the 4th inning and on, hed be lights out and our ace, without schilling that is--theres gotta be something dave wallace can to do to help wade's control first 3 innings
  2. if not for great defense so far, wade would be down in the hole right about now. again I ask when will his stuff be like it was before ?? im just saying this is his 14th game, and im seein same stuff except his players are behind him are gettin him out of trouble.
  3. haha nice chicago thus far in first 2 innings cant get anything by the sox in trying to steal. 2 pickoffs in the first, and the last out even if that was called a ball, out 3 wouldve been called ith tek throwing to 2nd to tag out Rowand
  4. cant wait till tomorrow's game, bronson is lethal against baserunners trying to steal against him
  5. im not a girl dude im just glad hes coming back, he'll be a big help to the outfielders
  6. he has had better stats agaisnt el duque going 6 for 16, millar though is 0 for 5--plus El Duque has been havin a tough time against leftys
  7. niice stuff, our "Kap" is coming back. I bet once he comes Hyzdu will be demoted to Triple a. A Stern/Kapler duo of backup outfielders is better because Stern has got the speed and Kap has got the power to slug balls
  8. Ah got use to seeing Tony G start, but Alex Cora will be covering second base for tonight but still means Tony can come in later in the game as pinch hitter and defensive replacement
  9. well then dont complain about sox fans boasting about the October win, if its alright for you to say 26-6. Thats little one-sided thinking
  10. besides really if the sox all of 2005 were to have Schilling, Foulke, and Miller all in their forms of 2004. The Standings could have seen a "White Sox type" lead than it is now
  11. wow you are friggin slow if you didnt even notice the sarcasm in my post. yes we do take that to you guys cuz all we heard from yankee fans was 1918. now its 26-6. Im sure if things were in reverse that yanks beat the Sox in the fashion that was last October, youd be pulling the exat same thing on the sox fans here.
  12. ahh do we keep saying that? im sowwy . well if you guys are using 1918 and 26 to 6 to get at us, that gives more than a reason to recount last October's playoffs. check and mate
  13. oh god i agree with ya there, for sure the NL West is really a lowly group of teams--San Diego and Arizona are heading to be only teams in that division at least win over 80 games for the season
  14. Wade Miller, never facing the Chicago White Sox team but has faced in the past against several players. Wade Miller vs: Carl Everett, 0 for 3 Timo Perez, 2 for 5 (.400 avg) Scott Podsenik, 3 for 8 (.375 avg) Triple, 2 Walks, K, SB Chris Widger, 0 for 2 "El Duque" Orlando Hernandez really has had a good past against the Red Sox, well except last game which was game 4 of the playoffs . In 13 games, he has a 5-4 record with a 3.17 ERA. but there are some of our boys with good stats against him. With that comes John Olerud will be taking Kevin Millar's spot since John has the better numbers: El Duque vs: Johnny Damon, 15 for 35 (.429 avg) Double, HR, 2 RBIs, 2 Ks, 4 SBs David Ortiz, 3 for 7 (.429 avg) Double, HR, RBI, Walk Manny Ramirez, 10 for 30 (.333 avg) 2 Doubles, 3 HRs, 10 RBIs, 7 Walks, 7 Ks Trot Nixon, 5 for 29 (.172 avg) 2 Doubles, HR, 4 RBIs, 4 Walks, 4 Ks Jason Varitek, 1 for 16 (.063 avg) HR, 2 RBIs, Walk, 5 Ks John Olerud, 6 for 16 (.375 avg) Double, HR, 3 RBIs, 4 Walks, 2 Ks Alex Cora, 2 for 5 (.400 avg) Double
  15. Wade Miller has got to earn his golden star here, or itll be another nail hammered into theo not extending his contract which he just signed a one year deal with the red Sox. Im hoping for he at least gets finishes up in 7th inning, which hes only done twice this season. I tell you the Red sox would be the equivalent of the White Sox in the win/loss column if Curt, Foulke and Miller were all in their forms of 2004.
  16. he'll help san diego as they try to maintain their lead of the division, arizona diamondbacks are currently in 2nd place 4.5 games behind
  17. exactly, yes if bellhorn comes out of the gate he was like in 2004, I'll course welcome him back. But really the stats are bearing down on him as well as the games I go to, fans seein him this season slouch over in their seats because they know whats gonna happen, and hes got to change thir minds about him. Good that he had went on the DL, so get away from the boos and recollect himself, for July his stats dont lie compared to Tony G's July Mark Bellhorn, 13 games 5 hits for 43 at bats, double, HR, 2 RBIs, SB, 6 walks, 23 strikeouts Tony G, 11 games 9 hits for 33 at bats, double, HR, 5 RBIs, 5 walks, just 5 strikeouts
  18. besides he was still considered a baserunner in the game, bar none if it doesnt go on his stats on paper--and from previous post I wasnt excusing Schilling for his outing, he is doing a great job as in the closer role, in 5 games his ERA as relief pitcher is just 1.80
  19. tom caron noted that as gettin on base
  20. NFL will sure be putting the Patriots to a test if they can pull 3rd bowl in 3 straight years, and 4 out of 5. just look how the regular season starts, be some clinchers in the very beginning, not facing a team in their own divison until week 8. Thursday September 8- Oakland Raiders (rematch of 2001 playoffs with that fateful vinateiri field goal in the snow, plus they got the jerk Randy Moss on their team so thats a threat Sunday September 18- @ Carolina Panthers (rematch of the 2002 Super Bowl teams) Sunday Septmeber 25- @ Pittsburgh Steelers (rematch of the 2004 playoffs, Big Ben will be a tougher quartback this season) Sunday October 2- San Diego Chargers Sunday October 9- @ Atlanta Falcons Sunday October 16- @ Denver Broncos ---BYE Week--- Sunday October 30- Buffalo Bills Monday November 7- Indianopolis Colts (rematch of 2004 playoffs) Sunday November 13- @ Miami Dolphins Sunday November 20- New Orleans Saints Sunday November 27- @ Kansas City Chiefs Sunday December 4- New York Jets Sunday December 11- @ Buffalo Bills Saturday December 17- Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday December 26- @ New York Jets Sunday January 1- Miami Dolphins
  21. im just settin on my sights on seein the deal be confirmed on ESPN, these newspaper artlces are going every which way
  22. well if you say something like that on a red sox form site, die-hard sox fans will be sure to point out the yankees flaws. Yes the Sox do need lost of work right now, do have the offense but not moving baserunners along, bullpen and pitching
  23. no dumbass, as in the "Joke" is getting old, not time itself jeez. Besides how about your crumbling rotation and bullpen, huh? losing the first 2 to the angels and already bound to lose todays game 3 with Kevin "I hurt my back again" Brown
  24. dude cmon this whole 26 to 6 deal is getting pretty old
  25. im not sure of the other 9 remaining teams, but that was stated as a fact on the NESN pre-game report yesterday
