  1. dually noted... Side Track: Along with his posts that with Sox facing the Blue Jays, the Yanks could gain some ground while facing the Devil Rays in Tropicana Fields. Even though I dont think he realizes it could go the other way with Sox gaining ground and Yanks still having a tough time with the D-Rays, blind if you ask me. I mean hello D-Rays took 2 out of 3 from your team last week. Biggest thing against the Blue Jays for the Sox, was the pitching woes Sox been having in July. Be a different story this series. Bronson is coming off of 2 good starts, Matt Clement enough said right there, David Wells though he did have a rough outing against the Yanks he will get back on track
  2. ok you listen the devil rays for the yankees this season has not been an easy team, i dont think you can accept that
  3. we understand that but we keep trying to get to your dense self that the Yankees will have a tough time gaining ground while at the same time within the "realm of reasonability" they will be having a tough time theirselves facing Tampa Bay who has owned them
  4. well thats a strong and mature argument. "oh yea well he's gay"--christ, grow up dude
  5. wake did out pitch RJ on whiffs, 12 Ks which was Wake's career high in a game thus far
  6. Im with you on that!!
  7. just a nice update here, well for Sox fans anyway Cleveland vs Minnesota, end of 1st inning Cleveland is on top already at 4-0
  8. Irish Jay meet Joe, Joe meet Irish Jay. Im sure the both of you will be very happy together
  9. Bronson will do Game 1, coming off of 2 good starts--Clement will do Game 2, 'nuff said--Wells will do Game 3, im sure he will bounce back from the Yankees game
  10. you are the dense one if you think yanks will sweep the d-rays
  11. Cleveland game is on ESPN2, and Colts/Ravens games is on ESPN, so i'll just have to switch back and forth
  12. sure thing----I know what I'll be watching tonight, ESPN 8pm Cleveland vs Minnesota
  13. yahoo! mlb sports is a good place to go there for info, I go there a lot for updated stats. go to any pitcher's profile, then click on batter vs pitcher, then on next page click on since 1987
  14. you be afraid old players dont heal as fast as the rookies are able to
  15. By the way, whats goin on with RJ? Though yes he did a lights out performance, he had to leave the game after tweaking his knees on pitches to Manny and Millar
  16. convenient answer
  17. Well see I meant that because even if Sox lose against the Blue Jays, the yanks would lose the same day against the D-Rays. Hence they wont gain any f***ing ground
  18. Yeah ok, if you want 100 % Yankee optimism go over to the YES boards. Funny by the way you just started to come back like other Yankee fans when they started to win again little by little.
  19. and have held onto the lead since late june (1 day Yankees had the 1/2 game lead). By end of August it was down to just 1.5 game lead for the Sox. I mean really, 20 games left and there would just have to be a collapse for the Sox and such. Sox faces the Blue Jays the same time Yanks face off the Devil Rays, hard to see Yankees can make up ground this week
  20. it is positive for us because he had given just one run and 3 hits, his 3rd complete game of the season (2 against the Yankees). striking out 12 (that out performed RJ) and by the way this means we can count on Wake more for the rest of the season, still has 4 games left and a chance of being a 19 game winner by season's end
  21. Saints win 23-20!!! Though I picked the Panthers to win, I was going by that stats wise and side comparison. But really inside I was rooting for them to win, good thing for New Orleans to have
  22. until this becomes a forum for other teams, you shut the f*** up because we have the right to say whatever we want to, what we think and feel about issues. I mean cmon even one of the greatest relievers in MLB history has called in question Giambi, so its not just us here...
  23. yes but at least us Sox fans today can take pride in something along with Wakefield's really greatest performance of the season
  24. before you yank fans starting "it was all Tek" take a look back once he was beaned by Bronson he started to argue with the ump, and then attempted to step towards the mound. Tek did what any catcher would do, just hold him back and guide him the way to 1st base, but Arod was clearing mouth "f*** you" to Tek and other obscenities, he deserved the glove in the face
  25. oh well no shutout, it will still end as a 27-7 game
