  1. The Pats have signed safety Tebucky Jones and ex-Colts kicker Martin Gramatica http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/
  2. True there's also "Sheff-roids"
  3. Damon take some catching "D" from our center Coco ----------------- Ca-No-No strikes again!!
  4. Hope to see this for years to come...
  5. Ok so Beckett is off to a start of, 1-0 (1.29 ERA) Next action will be the home opening game, I'll be sure to bring my digital camera to take some pics for you guys of Beckett making his Fenway debut
  6. Intimidation, thy names are Beckett & Papelbon!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. more blame should be called on the 3rd base coach. The guy stupidly waved Teixeira on when Manny was already thorwing toward home. That was gift-wrapped for the Sox ---------------------- Oh thank god its Papelbon getting ready for the 9th inning
  8. all hail Beckett, didnt think he'd get out of the 4th inning. But man what a performance
  9. thats 5 shout out innings on 2 hits both by loretta
  10. Beckett got out of the inning unharmed but has thrown 81 pitches in 4 innings. Im guessing he might go 6, either way Papelbon has to get the ball after Beckett's night is done.
  11. It was Cubs' Glendon Rusch. Arroyo was leading off the 3rd inning and hit an 0-2 fastball to left field.
  12. Yes he did and its not like Bard did a bad job catching him as Wake was the best starter out of spring training. He had allowed just 5 ER in 19 innings pitched and Bard was immune to passed balls. Like previously said it was a mixture of first game jitters, Wake not having a good knuckle, and the team that was facing Wakefield. The blame purely cant be all placed on Bard.
  13. They measured Arroyo's HR at 403 feetB)
  14. Is it the all star break already? Oh thats right Wakefield has had made one start. This shouldnt be a cause to get Bard's head just yet.
  15. Im not sure if you had even watched the game... Wake's knuckle was never that good from the start of the game. They were either left up in the zone or on either side of the strike zone. Very rarely did I see it fall right where it should be. It can be also factored in that there was dry air (kills knucklers), 6+ ERA against Texas, 6 ERA at Ameriquest Field.
  16. Commendable job Bronson, you deserve the standing ovation the Reds fans are giving you
  17. Arroyo is looking sharp, 10 stright retired. He also has 6 Ks in 5 innings. I knew him moving to the National League would in essence make him a batter pitcher than here in the AL east
  18. damn Bronson!!!!!!!!!! solo HR to left field
  19. oh man i didnt even know about this, gonna get mlvtv started up. thanks for the heads up
  20. ok just a sec... its looking like ex-Sox Bruce Chen
