    yep The Red Sox are still having negotiations with the Phils but its just to try and mess up talks between NY & Philadelphia http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/5829932 We should hear an official announcement sometime today if not tomorrow, Abreu will be wearing the pinstripes and getting curtain calls even when his hits mean nothing

    Lefty David Murphy just rocketed a bll over the left field wall for a 3 run HR. His 7th HR with Pawtucket. Pedroia got on base before him by getting hit by a pitch Murphy will probably make his major league debut when rosters expand on Sept 1

RJ was roughed up in 3.1 innings giving up 9 Runs (6 ER) off of 6 hits Still the D-Rays are dealt a big blow as Ty Wigginton has broken his left hand, he was their biggest run producer this season. He was hit by a Shawn Chacon pitch who by the way now has a 7.00 ERA. Maybe a month or 6 weeks he will be out.

    Papi!!!!!!!! The star of the game with a HR, 4 RBIs. Now stands at 35 HRs, 99 RBIs before end of July. What his 4th walkoff hit in past 2 months?? This could be the spark that starts it all Julian Tavarez comes through big, Manny helped him with an outfield assist And ahem... the "little guy" unsung hero mojo of Brian Daubach and Dave Roberts presented by ORS :thumbsup:

    he's being sarcastic because he wants to see Hansen, Pedroia, or any other top prospect to be traded for a win-now starting pitcher. Something that Theo has been bent against since dealing Freddy Sanchez for Jeff Suppan

    If I remember correctly his ERA is creeping under 7. Also the fact of a trade between division rivals, the O's would ask for at least 1 top prospect
